Should the pats look for a DE in FA?

We won't be finding a player of Chandler Jones' caliber and we have 2 starting quality guys along with young players. However do we want to pay up for a proven vet who can be a decent #3?

Not to pile on Chandler because he brought a lot but I think Long will pair with Ninkovich much better in terms of leadership. We will miss Chandler on the field at times but will still be good at DE and have another good vet leader for a young defense.

One year deal huh? Probably a prove it deal. I would imagine he got here and BB told him he was about to ship out Jones and there was a prime opportunity there for the taking for him... Only issue is, if he does excel, he will be long gone next year.
