I'm not saying Evans specifically is needed (though he is very solid at what he contributes), but having a true FB on the roster is more important than a 5th RB.

Throw Jason Taylor in there as well.

If Taylor signs with the Patriots it's probably right only within a month of training camp cause I just don't think he wants any part of an offseason program at this point in his career.

Love this team : we're debating whether or not to keep Heath Evans while some other teams have no QB ! Brilliant.

Heath visiting other teams - I may have been wrong about him back. I do, however, still believe that he's more valuable than law firm.

 

[Real World]

The only way Heath isn't on this team this year, is if he signs elsewhere.

I'd love a 1 year flyer on Jason Taylor. It would bridge the gap till Crable takes over, or certainly provide some insurance in case Crable sucks.
