Dante & Daboll

In reading about the OTA's I keep seeing it mentioned that Daboll is working the OL with Dante S, who is arguably the best OL coach in the history of the game. Could BB be grooming Daboll to take over for Dante? Did Dante tell BB this would be his last year?

He is getting up there in years, but he has been such an institution it is hard to imagine the Pats without him. Something to keep an eye on this year.

Happens to all of us, eventually. What I'm most happy about is seeing a replacement being groomed in-house, rather than searching outside the organization.

FWIW, he's 65, compared to Belichick's 61—and I'd think one would have to be blind not to see that Scar is in much better shape physically.

i think the grooming theory is a worthy one...

but if those two guys are that close in age, i also believe they may leave at the same time?
