True. However, I would rather have Amendola, especially at this time, play on the regular offense and focus solely on that. Even though the punt is an important play, it is a high risk play where the opponent is running at the returner from 50+ yards out with a full head of steam. Not the best place to put your only available WR in. At this point the Patriots are better of settling for a fair catch every time, while putting the game in the hands of their best player.
I don't necessarily disagree with your point, although a victory against the New York Football Giants likely doesn't happen without a certain 91 yard punt return.
