I guess he got into a heated argument with mcdaniels.

Who the F is this guy? And who the F is Ramel Keton?

Whatever.

Milton’s gone, Josh has shown to be a very good OC, and even if true (doubtful) for a second year player who had proven nothing to interrogate an OC who’s won that many games and Superbowls says more about Milton than Josh.

Why would anybody believe anything that attention whore "Dakota from Braintree" ever says?

Why would anybody believe he has sources that the genuine Pats sportswriters don't have?

This may be a dumb question but doesn't the head coach and owner have any say if a player gets traded or not? Can the offensive coordinator really make any trades he wants after an emotionally charged tirade? Players and coaches butt heads and argue all the time. Was there no time for everyone to calm down and talk it over?

It’s either a pattern or muckraking.
This is what happened to Josh in Denver with Cutler and the RB,
Remember with the running back the rumor was he flirted with McDaniels wife.

With Cutler Jay didn’t go to his first meeting or showed up late and less than thrilled that Shanny was fired.

This is absolutely fake news and it's embarrassing this guy posted this. Why would a 3rd string QB confront the OC about the offense? If true, he absolutely deserved to get hiss azz traded. It would be more believable if it was Maye and he was abruptly traded. There's no doubt he was traded for what he did week 18 and they would've cut him that day but it would've looked too obvious. The other reason is that he's rumored to be thinking he should be starting over Maye. You have to get rid of those guys immediately.

That's the only pattern you could connect this too. Cutler forced ownership to trade him after his first meeting with McDaniels. Former OL in Denver speculated that McDaniels shipped Peyton Hillis out because Josh's wife thought Hillis was attractive. Brandon Marshall didn't like McDaniels either.

I can see it. Josh meets Milton and talks about the offense they're installing. Milton disagrees with some things he'd have to learn to operate it. Both sides grow frustrated. Josh discusses the encounter with Vrabel, and they agree it won't work. The next day they sign Dobbs and Milton is on the block.

Pretty straightforward. Unless Milton eventually becomes a stud, this is a non-story.

I could care less why he's gone.

There's not much in the media sphere we can count on these days but one thing I am absolutely certain about is anyone claiming anything is 'fake news' is spewing some version of it themselves.

He sounds Pro Hamas.

I don't blame Kraft for shipping Milton down the road hanging with Ramel.

Or, maybe, just maybe, they watched his tape and didn't like what they saw? [Just a reminder that Milton started fewer games in his last four seasons than Maye did in his two seasons as a starter.]

I am not so sure you can blame him for that. It was not his job to throw the game. Put yourself in his shoes; it was his one chance to prove to the world that he was a starting-caliber QB. I just cannot see anyone in his position throwing the game; it would sink any chance he had to start here or elsewhere and he would forever view as a terrible QB.

...
If I was Josh, I would have told Milton that he could compete for the starting job in training camp and the preseason.....and be serious about... if Milton has the skills. If he had equals skills, he deserved an equal chance. Is Milton really vastly inferior to Drake or was he buried on the bench because Drake is the golden boy, hand picked by Bob at pick #3? We all assume the former, but maybe we will find out for sure.

We do not know if Milton has the skill set; if he starts a few games in Dallas and does well, then we will know that the Patriots and Josh make a terrible mistake. If he stews on the bench and agitates for the starting job even when Dak starts to suck, then we will know that the Patriots did the right thing.

My understanding is that owners are required to sign off on trades, but not generally on signings/releases; in 2007 Kraft insisted on meeting with Randy Moss in person before agreeing to the trade.

it was reported that when recruiting/negotiating with Dobbs, the team told Dobbs Joe would be traded.
so going after Dobbs was not a knee jerk reaction

I thought this referred to milton Williams, and was like wtf??

But it's about Joe milton? He's still a thing that's putting panties in a bunch?

Gotta be honest with you all, it's wtf that some care so much about a third string qb...
