Just to refresh your memory, Caldwell was one of the last players cut from the team. And he was cut because of his lack of special teams play. Not to mention that the Pats had Troy Brown AND Chad Jackson on the PUP list.

So, to say that Woods is going to be cut because of that play is just stupid.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Caldwell ends up back on this squad next season. Maybe it's b/c I grew to like Caldwell a lot, but if you see Moss staying, Stallworth leaving, Washington either re-structures or leaves, then you have Moss-Welker-Jackson. Gaffney might find more $ elsewhere, so would anyone be surprised to see them look at Caldwell as a #3/4 option?
