I remember Chung screwing up a play as a young 2nd round pick. He took the heat & moved on.

But this is becoming a habit w Cyrus. One he desperately needs to kick.

Cutting him is ridiculous. Outside of the Perriman 9 route on the sideline, he was good on defense. He should not be returning kicks on ST anymore. Kid is a dimwit when that ball bounces toward him.

I have never seen a 2nd round pick i have wanted to cut this early. Insane.

Sign him to the PS maybe see if he can maybe get his head on straight next year but we need someone to return punts that is not Edelman. Too important to this team to risk it.

So many times he's way too close when it's bouncing. Just run away from it. Run backwards, pretend the ball is lava and if you touch it you're melted.

I am not ready to give up on him. But I don't want him back there returning punts unless we have a 3 touch down lead. Honestly we really needed that guy on ST. Chung has absolutely no burst at all as a returner. We can't risk Edelman getting hurt.

He also gave up the huge play in the 4th quarter.

I hate bringing emotion into these decisions, instead of cutting him how about just get him off of the punt return for starters.

He's a bag of nerves and wants to avoid mistakes so bad it's making him make even more mistakes.

They were just 1 point off of a "3 td lead" tonight and he almost ****ed them. He's done as a returner. I'm still curious/undecided on his CB play, sure. Don't care about Chung's burst, just his hands. Even Dola got hurt on a ball he should've probably just fair caught - he got clipped on the knee the punt before that too. They'd be better off just fair catching these things and letting TB go to work.

Half the forum was ready to kick Gostowski to the curb after a few missed FGs this year despite 10 years of being a top tier kicker. That Cyrus F'n Jones is getting any wiggle room from anyone - much less from BB to still play ST - is outrageous.

I think he failed to block on the Slater fumble as well. He is monumentally bad as a returner. Can't catch the ball, can't execute a fair catch and doesn't even know to get away from a bouncing punt. Mediocre as a defender. Why keep him on the roster at this point?
