PODCAST: McCann on whether Tom Brady will serve suspension
27:38

There is no offer of an exchange of picks for admission of guilt or anything new that I can hear.
What Curran says is that the NFL said previously after Goodell's press conference, that the NFL would not entertain any discussion of the matter without first getting Brady's admission of guilt. No place did I hear that the league would consider returning the picks.

Yeah, basically from what I heard in the podcast is that there is next to no chance that the Pats get their picks back, but there is absolutely no chance to get the picks back if Brady doesn't admit that he was wrong in some way. So basically, the Pats aren't getting the picks back but any glimmer of hope is gone unless Brady admits wrong doing.

We'll hand down one of the greatest draft punishments of our time and for us to rescind it, all you need to do is admit to something you never did. /GoodellNFL

I don't use the term hate much as it's an incredibly strong word but I am beginning to hate Goodell and his administration.

**** the picks, Brady will win again in court.

What a f***ing joke. Same old NYJFL. Do they not realize that would be perjury?
When an organization is filled with those who routinely lie as a normal course of behavior, lying is just what everyone does. Under oath is absolutely of no consequence whatsoever.

Roger, why don't you get this pick, sink it in glue and shattered glass and shove it in your ass you scum

So, just to be clear, this isn't extortion...how?

Not sure there is direct extortion but clearly the NFL exec was using Curran to get the word out and rile up the fan base, wake up Bob and in turn, pressure Tom to caving in by appealing to his loyalty to the fans and the club.

This goes to show the amazingly backwards thinking process of the NFL, completely devoid of any logic or consistency.

So, if Brady did actually participate in a scheme and admits it, no forfeited draft picks. BUT, if he didn't participate in the scheme and therefore won't "admit it," they lose the picks.

I love how they say they will consider giving them back. As if they have credibility and can be taken at face value.

New low for the NFL, if that's even possible.

Sounds backwards cause it is. They worked Backwoods with an assumption and if Brady admitted guilt they wouldn't look like the effups they are allowing them to save some face. I'd rather let the picks go and have Brady tell them to shove it up their ass.

Hey, this is not unprecedented.

Of course, if they reason with the predominant faction of owners and Goodell, and explain their innocence, they'll probably give the picks right back.

Reminds me of the settlement talks giving Brady a reduced suspension if he admitted guilt. So, three games and a perjury charge...

Yup, and she will consider having sex with me...

Beginning to hate them?? I've been there for quite awhile now. Lol

Firmly dislike isn't on the level of hate however, I am moving toward that position.

No need, Bill's just gonna use a couple of mid-round picks to get Gordon and that'll be like getting a 1st round type player.

I'd love to see Giselle cursing in Spanish when this **** comes out ...
If she was in charge when this crap started it would have been over quickly.
she would have had goodell cowering like a feeble mune.
