Horrible defense has ruined our season many many times before. Good offense and this defense can't stop a nose bleed

Akiem Hicks is the loss we would be lamenting.

Hicks is a solid player no doubt. But let's not forget we took a flier on him after he was in the dog house in NO. He came in and played a pretty good half of year but I can't fault the pats for not matching the deal he got. In hindsight I bet the pats would gladly pay him that figure but again I don't think they got a good enough feel for him to know if the real Hicks was the pats one or the doghouse NO one.
