Could we trade with K.C for #3??

If this Pepper's deal is all smoke what are your thoughts about a trade with the Chiefs?
Could we trade 23 & 34 to them for Curry if he's there at 3?
Some though we got less value in the deal with them? Curry has been raved about and with him and Mayo, we are set at LB for a long time. Maybe he made a deal with Pioli? The extra pick would help the Chiefs.

So basically were giving them Cassell, Vrabel, and the 23rd pick for #3 pick since the 34th pick was their's to begin with? Not sure I like that idea.

Yeah, I think we had our chance at #3, and if we wanted it so badly, we could have put together a package to get it.

While I, and any Pats fan, can salivate over the thought of getting Aaron Curry, the KC trail is over.

If the Pats wanted the Chiefs' third pick, they would have made it happen when they traded for Cassel even if they had to sweeten the pot a lot more to get it. Not going to happen. Besides, the Pats would never draft in the top 5 with the current pay structure for rookies.
