Here he is being paid like a HC. His family is established and settled here. To uproot everything just for the sake of being a headcoach without having full control is a step in the opposite direction. He also has the potential to take over here eventually.
Yeah. That is my point as well ; OTHER things matter. But originally, your main focus was on the $. But you are in the majority it seems, when considering jobs.

Money does matter when it’s a substantial jump. I understand Flores leaving, he is going to make 4-5 times more, most anyone would do jump from linebackers/“defensive” coach to head coach.

I think there have been stories or articles done on Scar over the years, and I remember 2 things from them: 1) he doesn't want to do anything but coach the o-line; 2) he doesn't want to live anywhere other than MA. I'm pretty sure Josh doesn't agree with No. 1 (same position always) and I don't think he's married to No. 2, but I remember his wife is from this area and did not want to leave to go to Denver. There's something to be said for stability in an unstable profession.

I have ZERO clue what any of those choices mean lol

if people are speculating about possible Josh landing spots here's one: KC

if you pair Mahomes w/ McDaniels i could really see some crazy fireworks

If this dynasty lasts much longer the Patriots will be broken up one way or another by the owners for the survival of the league.

Hope not god

If (when) Pats win the SB, they should give Scar the MVP.
