What a far cry from a BB Draft. When I think about the Pat’s 2025 draft, I just smile. Just a REALLY good draft. And one of the things I like about it is, if you look at it combined with free agency, it’s like pieces of a puzzle. The pieces just fit in extremely well with what we did in free agency. If you look at the team’s overall talent, it’s improved tenfold. Go defense heavy in FA, then go offense heavy in offense in their first 4 picks, 2 explosive weapons and 2 athletic lineman rated #1 at their positions. Just a smart draft filled with good/smart players, and good people, several captains.
Isn't nice to see them Draft Players we discussed thoroughly in the Draft Forum. When I think about the Pat’s 2025 draft, I just smile. Just a REALLY good draft. Brugler didn't grade the draft classes (he ranked them), so it wouldn't fit into the format of this exercise.I'm an avid Brugler follower, he's a daily follow for me year round so I'm aware of his grade ad it bolstered my overall feeling about this draft. What I was speaking to is the noticeable absence of someone as widely respected as Brugler's grade but the inclusion of putz's like Prisco's and Maske's takes To paraphrase BB, who's wrong more than Pete Prisco?
I was buzzing after day 2 & 3 and it took me a while to sleep because I was watching YouTube reactions just to keep the positive feeling going....which was a bit of a problem because the draft finished at 4am where I live. When I think about the Pat’s 2025 draft, I just smile. Brugler has the Patriots' class as #1 on his evaluation though....The exclusion of The Athletic's Dane Brugler combined with the inclusion of Mark Maske and Pete Prisco's grades, neither of whom is the best authority at their own outlets, makes this tabulation sorta meh
I think this is the lens through which the graders view our draft class. If Campbell is a great LT prospect, it's a great draft. If the grader thinks Campbell has to be a guard, they'll rate it lower.I read his summary. Feels Campbell will be better off as a G or C therefore the Patriots reached for a guy like that at 4. Likes Henderson. Loved Wilson. Likes what we did on day 3. We'll see.

1 hour until the doom patrol bus pulls up.True, I took the Pats #1 ranking by Brugler as an 'A' grade so I'm guilty of a false start. Now convince me I'm wrong I'm wrong about Prisco and Maske not being worth a damn
I’m with you, I was up late due to the excitement, was watching a lot of highlights though I’ve watched most prior to the draft and during the college season. But the excitement kept me awake.I was buzzing after day 2 & 3 and it took me a while to sleep because I was watching YouTube reactions just to keep the positive feeling going....which was a bit of a problem because the draft finished at 4am where I live.
I don’t know why, but I think Campbell is gonna be a really good one. You’re not gonna hear his name a lot, which means he’s doing a great job. He’s just gonna do a good job and protect HIS QB, and open up holes for his RBs and make his LG play better. He’ll wind up being a top 10 LT.We all HOPE that Cambell turns out to be at least a top 10 starting LT this draft will be an all timer. Even if he turns out to be a top 15 guy it will be very good. However, even if he turns out to be a very good OG, this draft's rating will be diminished in most people's eyes due to the fact that you just don't pick OG's at #4.
Bottom line. When we do the TRUE revue of this draft, if it gives us 3 starters and 2 rotational players it will truly be an A

Of course Sanders was the 2nd QB they drafted, so not sure how getting Sanders was a win.He was going to give any team that drafted Shedeur that grade regardless of who else they drafted.
Without a doubt he would of traded back repeatedly for a wealth of 3rd round picks. His first guy off the board would of been either a defensive player (LB) or an olineman who played multiple positions. Jack of all trades master of none. What a far cry from a BB Draft.
