The bottlmline is, they got it wrong snd it is not the first time we have lost games where rules were applied completely differently than everyone else. This just doesn’t happen to other teams, and goodell is always protected because he can never lose, knowing no one cares if he cheats with his article 46. Huge reason why ratings will continue to plummet. We had this discussion in the office last week, where the catch rule was explained, understood, and then we see it not upheld correctly even with replay, plain as day. It just proves what i have said all along: anything close, favor the opponent’s call in case they can use the “not enough to overturn” excuse. It is impossible to miss the call and then miss it on the replay. Even michaels and collinsneck knew it was no good.

The irony of the pats getting those call correctly by rule in season and then goodell using it to cheat in the super bowl. Riveron is probably still unconscious in a bunker on parke ave after goodell whacked em over the head during the replay with steratore.

Isn't it amazing how the ref always gives calls to the opponent as the result of an evil nefarious conspiracy, but we earn our calls through hard work, discipline and knowing the rule book?

That does not make sense. The rule is the rule. Clement did not have control and 2 feet. I don’t think asking or begging for fairness is something we should have to do on an annual basis.

Wentz was very happy for his buddy, Foles. Foles was saying how great it will be when Wentz comes back. These guys are all about the team, and it was refreshing. Almost Patriot-like. Very un-Steeler-like.
