Thats interesting b/c I didnt know that Belli calls out Brady. Besides the obvious SB rings and coaching ability do you know what the difference is betweenn Belli and Mangina? Woody Johnson has a choice. Extend Mangini (unlikely in my opinion) or fire him.

Having a lame duck coach, on the rocks and in the last year of his contract isn't going to help attract the bargain free agents that the Jets can afford. Johnson either offers a vote of confidence in Mangini or cuts him loose. No in between.

The jets were 4-12 last year and made many acquistions to improve the team to 9-7 and to a team in playoff contention on the last day. They signed Favre and he will likely retire in a few days or weeks. I think they should have kept Pennington.

But, in the end, Mangini isn't Parcells. He and his staff didn't do enough.
