I expect KC now to go after Stanley if he hits free agency, they also have a hole at LT and are obviously more of an attractive destination than NE is.
NE can pay way more $$ than KC can and I find it hard to believe the RatBirds wouldn't match what KC offers

Jacobs is not an NFL caliber starting T as we all saw last season. Maybe ok at G if guys like Onwenu and Strange are healthy. Strange is adequate but seems to be injury prone. Also not sure where Andrews is at healthwise. I wouldn't mind Thuney but we need T help bigtime.

He played LT. I can see for a game or two but that arrangement was not sustainable.
Definitely not. I’m sure the Bears will be lining him up at LG.

KC can pay as much as we would be willing to just with the Thuney savings.
They have other needs but us having the most money doesn’t mean we can get any player we want.

Hes due $16m in cash this year. I assume the NEP did not want to pay that.
If he was a LT they would but G isn’t a $16 mill problem
right now. If we spend our 125 mil smartly and draft well, the players we have (or add) at G will be fine.

I am OK with not getting Thuney but would like to see some EARLY trades by Wolfie
Or else my Wolf derangement syndrome will get worse

Bears and Commanders early trades signals their urgency to improve

More PTSD flashbacks to last years Wolf fiasco

BB paid him that in 2020
Yes. Why pay 16m when we have Layden Robinson and Sidy Sow?
Maybe savibg cap dollars for next weeks big “splash”

So when the Bears acquire one of the best guards in the league we pick up the scraps.

So he doesn’t draw any interest from the team that replaced him with Thuney but the the Patriots should gobble up sloppy seconds? This is as wrong as the reply I just posted.

Yep. It was $14m and he was 5 years younger.
Your right RW.. 14 not 16... Andy Reid was telling BB recently how he's glad Bill gave him Thuney.. I wonder how he feels now at 32..

You mean he'd have to replace strange... bummer ..

KC cannot pay as much as New England. That’s really what will likely matter most. This is his likely last chance at a big payday.
They can't pay as much, but he could easily take a short term deal there and be on a contender team and parlay that into another big payday in a year or two. Same **** happened for us when we were a dynasty. Coming to good teams is viewed as an investment coming to bad teams is viewed as a risk where you go under the radar on a ****show.

The issue is the Chiefs might not be asked to pay as much as we would

He looks like a young Sinbad.

People saying “the Chiefs are freeing up money to go after Stanley…!” But in reality they need to free up money just to attempt to keep their own free agents
