I think I'm like most here: intellectually, it would be better if the Colts lose. But viscerally, I'll derive the most satisfaction from the Jets losing.

I would normally agree with this philosophy, but you MUST consider that the Green Beans include:

* A head coach who declares himself bi-curious and is into things like nipple torture, fisting, physical humiliation, and pimping his wife out to complete strangers so he can watch her "take a big (one) in all three holes."

* A running back who publicly declares himself a "classy guy" and then disappears when the weather gets cold.

* One wide receiver who puts innocent people's lives in danger driving drunk, with teammates in the car condoning his recklessness.

* Another wide receiver who imitates LeBron James after scoring a game-winning touchdown in the Super Bowl, gets caught abusing drugs, and selfishly disregards simple requests from airline workers.

* A special teams coach who tries to deflect blame for rules violations by accusing other teams of doing the same thing, then gets his team fined for it.

* A strength/conditioning coach who blatantly cheats on the field of play by tripping an opposing team's player.

* A scumbag owner with no moral compunction who cares only about selling PSLs.

* The world's most ignorant, loathsome fan base.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg. No, in defense of all that is good and righteous on earth as well as in heaven, the Green Beans must LOSE at every given opportunity.

Definitely a Hall of Fame post for Jet haters everywhere.

As much as I hate the Colts, I want them to beat the Jets like the mangy dogs that they are. I want the Jets to be shut up and sent home as the losers that they are. I want any hope that they have to be in the SB to be crushed like broken glass right away.

Other than that, I have no strong opinion.

We won't play the Colts until the AFCCG, if at all. If they make it that far then it will be outdoors in January with probably some wind and cold. It won't be as warm and toasty as it was in Nov, even though it was cold for that time of the year. They will be defeated at Foxboro.

I hate to root for either of them... but if I had to, I would root for the Jets to win despite the loss of Revis, David Harris and Keller.

Jets - I want to see the Pats send Fat Rex home for the winter.

Jets

Reason being is that Rex Ryan is going to need to eat the whole left half of Manhattan to console him if the Colts beat his team.

I can't root for any of these teams. I think the Colts will win this game as long as their OL can give Manning enough time to throw. Manning has fewer weapons than before but he still has Wayne and Tamme as well as a revived run game. So I see the Colts taking this game. The Jets getting an early exit would be an extra heaping of crow on loudmouth Ryan's plate as well.

Hey, it never stopped him any other time during the last 18 months.

If people punched me in the face for calling them soft, eventually I would have learned not to call people soft.

Maybe when he calls out teams, they torture his nipples harder afterwards.

If the Jets win:
- we know we'll handle them the following week
- we know the Colts are out
- we know the Ravens are out (unless they upset Pitt, which won't happen)
- that's a 3-fer: a punched ticket to the AFCC game, and 2 dangerous opponents off our list

If the Colts win:
- we have to deal with the Ravens first, a team definitely capable of beating us
- we may have to deal with Indy in the AFCC game

So I don't care how much crap the Jets have pulled this year, I'm rooting hard for them this weekend.

I'd rather have the Jests win, will I be rooting for them though? NO

All very sound logic - hard to argue there (save for as I said before, I can't take the Jets lightly as an opponent despite 45-3).

Guys, if we want to win all the way...we gotta beat the best on the AFC so we have all the confidences to beat any NFC team in the SB.

I'd like to see the Pats beat the Colts, and either Ravens or the Steelers it don't matter as long we win i'm happy.
Yes.

As I've always said, if you want to be iron, you must face iron.

When it comes to championships, there is absolutely no substitute for coming through the front door!

I have an unhealthy hatred for Peyton Manning.

I think this guy is one of the biggest D**** to have ever played football.

He yells at his recievers for not catching the ball. He yells at his recievers for running the "wrong route".

He blames his recievers for his interceptions.

When he threw balls to his recievers (see: Austin Collie) that caused the reciever to lay broken and unconcious on the field, Peyton could be seen yelling on the sidelines "that it's his own fault" for getting wrecked.

When Colt players score TD's...he doesn't celebrate them with the rest of the offense. He goes over and sits on the bench.

He complains non-stop to every referee with earshot....on every play.

No. I can't cheer for the Colts to win. I'm tired of the league making call after call in thier favor.

What I will cheer for is for Peyton Manning to have his arm horrendously dislocated at the elbow....and I will cheer. Just like all the POS Colt fans did when Brady got his knee blown out.

If this happens...all will be right in the galaxy.

Go Jets.

I am rooting for the Colts. I HATE THE JETS...CAN'T STAND THEM. Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see that loud mouth team booted out of the playoffs in the first round. I want to walk into my office on Monday, and tell those Jet fans to talk trash now. You would not believe the crap I've heard from them all year...until their team got beat down 45 to 3. Hate that team. No force on this earth will convince me to EVER root for them.

GO COLTS!! Can't believe I just said that.

I'm with ya! Rex needs to be one and done.

That's probably true, but I am never one to count them out. Manning has looked a lot better of late, regardless of his teammates - and, granted, I do agree that the level of competition was weak. But it's hard to say they have regressed since our meeting - in which they played us as well as anybody has of late.
In that vein, I'm concerned about a possible Reggie Wayne/Darius Butler matchup, whether by design or through accident.

Other than that, what's Indy got?
