Clemens back to Red Sox?

Ian, at one time, intended it that way, but now doesn't give a cr$p. Many of us have complained about it and written him about it, but having Sox fans here (and not caring to keep it in the Sox forum) posting about the Sox makes money for the site and it's a capitalist society. Ian's a good guy and I don't blame him for this, but it is what it is.

Clemens is pretty fat, but he's hardly big enough to play on our line.

And he's pretty old to play football.

A couple of things......

1. I have NEVER started a Red Sox thread on this board.

2. The people that "hijack" the Sox threads DO NOT hijack threads about hockey playoffs, the NBA, NCAA BB, college football or various nekked/hot women threads!

That is simply my point, none of these people whine about anything else except baseball!

There is not another forum on this site to discuss these other matters. That's why people give them more leniency. But there is a specific forum on this site to discuss the Red Sox.

And if it wasn't policed half the threads here would be about the Red Sox. I can only guess but that must have been the problem when this site was first started and that's why the Red Sox forum was created.

That's because Boston baseball threads outnumber all other OT threads in this forum combined! And THAT is why Ian CREATED A SEPARATE FORUM on this messageboard for baseball talk. Why can't you baseball people get that through your heads and behave accordingly? Here's a novel idea: Go start some baseball threads in the baseball forum where you will never need to fret about about anything being "hijacked." Or better yet, take your baseball talk/angst to another web site where it's welcomed by all. What is so hard to understand about this? Football fans come to this forum as a refuge from incessant baseball news/chatter which dominates the sports media this time of year. To see threads about it where it doesn't belong is a royal pain in the arse. Believe it or not, a goodly number of members here could give a flyin' frig about baseball ... You might as well be posting about lawn darts or croquet.

Sons of Sam Horn is far, FAR better/smarter and more like this site, IMO. BDD is okay, though.

Well, we have a SoSHer reporting he has some inside info that we can expect Roger in a Sox unifomr by mid-June.
