In 1975 i sat at half court in the boston garden, watching 'classy' bostonians and other completely trash the building using fire hoses to last open the concession stand doors open, someone backed their car through the back doors so they could fill the trunk with beer. They knocked the police and police dogs down the stairs with fire hoses, tore a metal cage off the front of a consession stand on the third level and throw it down onto the ice which by then was cover in broken glass from beer bottles thrown onto the ice. ...There we're about a thousand of us waiting out side to by led zeplin tickets, someone started stacking pallets and lite them on fire to stay warm (it was around this time of the year) so the autorities thought that they'd let everyone in and in the morning open the ticket windows. The headline that day in the globe read'Boston Garden Sacked' so maybe we should refrain from pointing fingers.

As someone who has had property stolen and/or destroyed by d-bags for no good reason, the cheering of this guy annoy the crap out of me. I didn't go bankrupt, so I guess it's OK to steal my stuff?

My dad took me to my first Pats game in 1982. I was 11.

I remember 2 fights and one guy who pissed on a woman's dress.

    It was a complete circus.

It's property destruction and theft. How is that "good for the fan" (or anyone else)?

The state paid a billion dollars for that stadium, you could steal chairs from it every day from now until the heat death of the universe and the Wilfs would still come out ahead in free public money

Do I even need to go into why that’s a terrible comparison?

We'll take that into consideration next time we pass by your house, break something off and take it away. Surely, you won't mind. ;)

I rent. Would probably get more back in insurance than the value of whatever you steal. Have at it.

No, but don't worry, where I live, the District of Columbia, also paid a billion dollars for a baseball stadium while our metro system catches on fire and homeless shelters fall apart. If someone wanted to steal seats from Nats Park, I'd cheer them on.

Just four days ago I was away on a business trip where I had a vending table displaying back issues of the magazine I publish. At the table I hang a colorful vinyl logo banner, 6 feet long, 3 feet tall. Some arsehole stole it. I guess he/she "wanted" it and acted accordingly, which appears an acceptable procedure among some folks here. o_O

I’m sure it was a big fan who had purchased years and years of issues and felt like a little “payback” was fair. You should be flattered.

It's ok if we take a dump in our house but those guys took a dump in someone else's house. The audacity. :D

I miss the good old days. Can't freaking compare 1975 to 2018. Eagles fans are savages. They don't deserve squat. Shame on our team for not beating them.

You would have the most important souvenir, the SB winning ticket from your one and only championship.
