I mean if it’s going to keep him out first half of the season I hope they just sit him the year. Unless he’s medically cleared and they’re in playoff contention then I’d bring him back if he’s medically good. If they have nothing to play for then just sit him.

I would prefer he made an honest effort to return this season once he's cleared and it's safe. It's a way of life and a mentality to want to be out there and grinding with your teammates.

Sitting at home healthy with all those new millions burning a hole in your pocket at that age... It's just better to get back to what you do asap.

If he doesn't play this season I want it to be because doctors absolutely forbade it.

He may require a filter to be inserted radiologically to make sure no future clots travel to his lung. Difficult to say at this point how long he will be out in till more details are known.

Was expecting to see a poor man's Chris Jones in Barmore in 24 our Run Defense and Inside pressure just took a massive hit. Guys like Barmore don't grow on trees you either have one or you don't. He will.be a massive loss with this upcoming schedule I hope it's not a career thing.

Ok he's in good spirits maybe they caught it just in time it might not be as bad as we originally thought. Medicine have come a far way.

Even with Godchaux they'll be hard pressed to replace Barmore's snaps....

They need a miracle, Trysten Hill, Sam Roberts or this new guy Josiah Bronson have to show up and contribute. Bronson was a decent signing, the guy has good athleticism and strength. These guys have to hold down the fort until Barmore returns and we have to hope for a speedy recovery.

It is. But I'm glad the team discovered it now so action can be taken. We will miss him tremendously on D. We have no one that does what he does at his position. However we do have some Dawgs. Wise, white, Jennings, judon, uche , will all have to step up even more.

You're absolutely right. We do, though, have to face the issue of a big chunk of D talent just vanished for the time being. Wolf better have a trick up his sleeve.

Wolf better have a trick up his sleeve? Reality is injurys happen in the NFL and teams don't have a Walmart to go buy/replace talented players. Cincy has had their season go down in flames when they had hopes of SB. For the pats, anyone off waivers is a stop gap at best. Trade is very possible, but you have to give up draft capital or another player, or both. there's no magic in personnel in the NFL.

Opponents might be able to run it right up the middle if the Pats can’t find someone to at least replicate his run defense. They won’t find someone who can replace his pass rush unless it comes from the DE’s like White. Hopefully they can hold down the fort and he can return sooner than later.
