good lord I wish Brady had chosen to ply this year with SF. ring #8 was in the bag
In the grand debate, which feels inevitable, Brady will always have that Super Bowl and a few other head to head victories over Mahomes, although in most of the match ups Mahomes still performed admirably.

Great take ... I like Purdy but they kept the short guy in the pocket ...
McCaffrey had 8 catches to lead the team ...

it would have been another SB win against Mahomes too lol

I didn’t watch the game but I’ve seen people, including you, say that Purdy’s lack of height (under 6’1) cost them multiple throws that a 6’4 QB would have made (not to mention Brady being 1000 times more experienced in SB’s)

He makes good use of what he has ... throws well on the run.
All the 2nd half I was like why not more RPO's ...
Get him moving out of that pocket ... the OL was getting their ass kicked.

The NFL sucks now. There’s like two good QBs and only one has a good coach.
I would say one HOF caliber QB(Mahomes)
Three good ones(Allen, Burrow, Jackson)

and the rest are meh
Where's the Manning, Brees, Rodgers, even Rapistburger and Rivers for Kermit to compete against? Where's those Steelers/Colts/Chargers/Ravens teams we had to go through?

Purdy played well honestly
This game ultimately falls on Shanahans failure yet again to keep a lead lol

Congrats to the Chiefs and Mahomes.

They have a long way to go to catch us and Brady still. At the same time their still working on the first half. Obviously no guarantees they'll get a second run but their first one isn't done. So far I'm ok with their run but getting a 3peat will start to make me squirm. Obviously something we didn't do and then the pace gets interesting too.

A three peat counts as 2 imo

Let’s hope we can do something about it and draft a QB capable of challenging the Junior GOAT in a playoff game. Probably delusional but you’ve gotta have some hope otherwise we just pray for the Bills or Bengals to win.

He doesn't let the moment or adversity get to him. Ice veins. Just like Brady.

Remember in SB 51 when everyone knew Brady was going to march down in OT and score the game winner? That's what I knew would happen after the 49ers settled for a fg tonight.

There aren't many QB's as good as Mahomes. Brady was though. I think he is one of the few QB's who had the ability to go toe to toe with him. And usually win too.

I think that is the team who can go toe to toe with them. They seem to match up well. And Burrow is special.

I don't think Buffalo will be a factor until they fire their HC and get more receivers in.

I wonder if tonight's game just gave the Patriots more incentive to move up and get Williams or Maye.

Oh thanks for mentioning Burrow. Yeah Burrow, Allen, Jackson, Herbert. All damn good players. So there's actually several. Again Mahomes is simply too good. Credit to Burrow for beating him, maybe he can be a roadblock for Mahomes next season.
Hopefully CJ Stroud is a sleeper. Kid's got talent.

This Superbowl is the perfect example (as if we needed it) as to why you dont want a game manager at QB ..and you want a killer at QB (not the #81 but the on the playing field type).

Pick a QB at 3 please.
Bingo....

When it mattered most, the superior QB played better.

The Patriots can't compete in the AFC unless they have an elite QB. Now, they can give up picks and go for Williams. Or, even see if GB would take our #3 for Love.

He was dogshit in the SB.

Agreed
Spags has 5 rings. Mahomes has 3. Reid has 3. They can't bury the ghosts of Brady and Bill fast enough. They just spent 4 hours kicking dirt on their graves.
Brady should unretire and sign with a team who is a QB away. Cleveland or Dallas.

Yes, I'm serous.

On the one hand we all pretty much knew Mahomes would do what he did and I thought maybe they should of gone for it instead of kicking the FG.

In the other hand they did get a chance at a 4th and one walk off. Again we all pretty much knew Mahomes was converting 4th and 1 but what if that was 4th and 5 or something. Mahomes probably converts that too but just playing devil's advocate and kicking off with a lead and knowing one stop ends it isn't the worst place to be in unless it's Mahomes or a Brady you're up against.

Edit: Rarely do I hear an explanation for a bad call that I actually think makes sense. Shanahan said they wanted the ball third. Makes sense probably wrong when it's verse Mahomes but makes sense.

Sad but true. It's good for the NFL though. Like the Pats, the Chefs have been the NFL darlings, but that will end soon.

Game managers vs. Killers.

You need a guy with huge nuts and a big arm to go out there vs Mahomes.

Pick a QB at 3.
I’m glad the draft isn’t tomorrow.

Too likely to make a knee jerk pick.
