As each year go by, every record gets less impressive with the rule changes, added games and poor quality of players.

The Pats going 3 out 4 is more impressive than Chefs 3 peat.

I will continue to beat the drum NO ONE is passing us with 6. Simply because I don't believe Reid is coaching well into his 70s and Mahomes isn't playing deep into his late 30s early 40s..

But if they 3 peat won't that also be 3 out of 4? If KC wins the SB they will have won 4 of the last 6 and been in 5 of the last 6. There last 6 years have been better than any 6 year stretch from the Pats. We did have a run starting in 2014 season that we went to 4 out of 5 SB's.

If anything, for me, it highlights the absurdity of people comparing Mahomes to Brady according to the stats. Yes, Mahomes is better on the stat line (though not wildly better), but these are markedly different eras we're talking about.

We can save the era talk for later.

Brady and Bill each still have multiple more sb wins. And they hold some very significant head to head battles.

Bill has beat Reid in a SB and an AFC championship.

Brady has done the same to Mahomes.

So even if they catch us we got the tie breakers. If somehow they each get passed then we can start talking about eras or we can just rip out caps.

@signbabybrady I think there is a much better case to be made for Reid>Bill than Mahomes>Brady. Reid won 11 postseason games before anyone knew who Mahomes was. He did it with McNabb, Garcia, & Smith. Helped reignite Vick's career too. Take away the two elite QB's, Reid looked better.

I think even if KC three or four peats, it won't be comparable to what we have done. Sure the wins are great, but a decent chunk of the early dynasty days was when the game was far different than today. It's no surprise that a talented QB can do great with all the rules they have that help them. Then you have rules that favor other positions that they didn't have as well. Having refs in your pocket also helps certain teams....can't say I ever saw them favoring us...

Fair enough. I just like reminding folks that while the SB/AFCCG door is slammed on Mahomes, even the stats arguments don't hold up.

There's no case. When he gets to 7 Super Bowl wins, we can start having the conversation. Until he gets to 4, he's still looking up to Montana.

I'm telling you.. Mahomes isn't going to play as long as brady has. You have to take into account the longevity factor. I'm sure Brittany Mahomes has alot more influence on Patrick than Giselle had with brady as far as the longevity. I don't think Mahomes is wired like brady was. If and when he body starts breaking down Mahomes will call it quits. Reid I don't see on the sidelines at 75 with 2 bad knees.
