Fine draft. Love the Curry trade up and the Beatty pick (given that Barwin is off the board). Not sure about Sidbury being able to transition to OLB - he seems to have pretty much linear speed and not much lateral mobility or agility, and is very raw.

Andre Brown is fine but I doubt he'll last to 89. Andy Levitre is fine but I doubt he'll last to 97. Chip Vaughn is fine but I doubt he'll last to 124. Shawn Nelson is fine but there's no way he lasts to 170. I'd be happy if it worked out that way, but I have a hard time believing it. One or two guys falling to us I can understand. 4 in row is hard to believe.

I think you are correct. Sidbury would need a lot of work before he could play in our base defense.

It was a tough choice between Beatty and English and I figured that the OT would be a better value than English. I also think that Nelson falling is a reach but I just went with it, Travis Beckum would be more realistic.

That is an excellent draft even without Curry. One of the best mocks I've seen yet.

Love the Curry and Beatty picks, but I really have to wonder about the rest of the daft falling so perfectly into place. Nelson in particular has worked his way into the top three for TE, and I just don't see him falling out of the third--I think he goes late second, in fact. He's a very good pass-catcher who showed great willingness to block at the senior bowl (anyone else see him pancake Maualuga? pretty funny), and his athleticism is off the charts.

If it went this way, I certainly wouldn't complain.

Why draft Sidbury when they have already taken Curry, the spent a 3rd on Crable last year and have Woods, Banta-Cain, Redd and Craig there as well? Why Draft Andre Brown when there is no room on the roster for 6 RBs...

Adding another name to the mix at OLB because Curry would play ILB for us. The Fred Taylor signing was great but he isnt going to be around forever, same goes for Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk. Allot of people belive we will select a RB it is just a matter of when. How many RB's made the roster last year?

5 RBs made the roster last year. And that included Evans. BJGE was cut and signed to the practice squad and only activated when Maroney went to the IR AND Morris and Jordan were nursing injuries. While Taylor, Morris and Faulk won't be around forever, you don't bring in a 2nd round RB to sit on the bench. And that is what Brown would be doing because he's not gonna beat out the other 4. He'd beat out BJGE, but not the other 4.

As for Curry, how do you see him playing ILB for the Pats?
