Agreed. Hauser takes how many attempts per game would you say? 2 to 3? As he's a guy off the bench in the rotation. His contract is kibbles and bits.. compared to say Jrue, porzingas or whites contracts... I think the obvious move is probably going to be porzingas or Jrue... that's just my gut feeling. I'm expecting some sort of change by the off season no matter if we win another chip or not.

I feel the exact same way. The Knicks know they haven't beaten us since last season.. remember that end of the season blowout loss at home to the Knicks right before the play off run..? We are a veteran team that's dealing with some ailments.. alot of miles on Jrue, white, Tatum and Browns bodies... go figure they've been in the post season since they were rookies! Wouldn't be surprised if we dropped a game to Knicks.. I'm not underestimating any opponents abilities.

Me too. Cleveland had some time off and Atkinson mentioned how they have alot of guys to match up. Indy does as well. Cleveland will win the series by the interior match ups. Cleveland like us likes ball control offense Indy has to play fast of thier offense gets stagnant. However Indy is an impressive team that plays hard and is also a deep team littered with shooters. With this likely the last season the C's roster is all together I'd love nothing more than to win it again this season!

One caveat.....Garland needs to be close to 80% . If he isn't or doesn't play then it's a pick 'em.

True. He was a huge piece for them missing. He handles the rock and allows guys to get to thier spots. Those sprains can be nagging.. Hopefully he can go. I've always been a fan of wanting to see teams at full strength to have a fair enough equal advantage in the post season.

Read the next part I added to the post. It’s more than just 3 point pct. Reliability and safe decision making with the ball as well.

I think Pritchard and Scheierman are very reliable and better distributors than Hauser.

Hauser is about $11M, Jrue is about $33M. Jrue solves the problem, but that subtracts a core player.

Unfortunately it does. What about KPs contract could that solve the problem?? We essentially won the chip last season without KP...

The biggest problem next year is the big bump in the cap hits of Tatum & White:

Tatum jumps from $34,848,340 to $54,126,450 & White jumps from $20,071,429 to $28,100,000. Those two add $27,306,681 to an already large cap number. Next year, they are already $56,149,322 over the second apron ($207.8 Million).

They're not getting rid of Brown, Tatum or White, so how do they cut salary? If they really want/need to get below the second apron, I don't see any way to do that without losing both KP ($30,731,707) & Jrue ($32,400,000). Hauser & one of those two isn't enough.

And remember, that 2025-26 total doesn't include Al's or Kornet's salary as they are both free agents.

Tatum is 13, Horford is 15, Porzingis is 19, Jrue and White are tied at 30 and Brown is at 44 (that was a surprise).

It was 10 with a minute and a half left and I was thinking a couple of buckets either way this lead could be four, could be 16. I like the way it turned out
