I think thats pretty nasty, no?
I have KAJ over KG but with that talent I could play PF and we'd win 80 games.

I threw KG in there because dude is maniac. I doubt Russell needed any motivation but KG's attitude is infectious. It would permeate the entire team and the ball movement would be insane as would the rebounding and running the court.Very....

Tatum is such a good guy. The documentary only solidified it. I also came away with a very positive opinion of Jimmy Butler.Watching Starting5 on Netflix. In season documentary following Tatum, LeBron, Edwards, Butler, Sabonis.
The show is absolutely ruined by LeBron hogging like 80% of the show. This guy’s level of cringe knows no bounds. Such a self-absorbed clown trying to convince everyone he’s a good, normal guy but unable to stop boasting about his accomplishments and pitching himself as the GOAT (lol). What a ****in tool.
The other guys all have some good, but very concise stories.
Tatum’s natural humility is very under appreciated and one reason the Celtics can have a ceiling the Lakers / former Cavs can’t.
Someone on Reddit had a great take on Edwards. One of these guys who is brash, ****y, and beloved until suddenly one day overnight he becomes known a bad teammate and diva. Sounds about right. In a few years, his behavior will go from being seen as fresh, youthful and cool to arrogant, exhausting and toxic.
Butler is interesting guy…never disliked him. Great player even if he’s not really a generational talent. He’s very smart though and his philosophical take on life and basketball is a big plus for the show.
Sabonis’s wife is fairly hot (but not that hot.) He’s as boring af as you’d expect when watching him interact on the court.
Another angle to this is Obama knows some of these contemporary guys, has played ball with some of em and of course would have some loyalty.Obama wasn't necessarily putting together the most unbeatable team, but the team that ?he liked. Though he shoildnt have ssid he thinks theyll beat anybody, becsuse thats ridiculous.
If your putting together the best team ever- there are 3 players you must have:
MJ, Magic and Larry.
Theres a number of different players you could add: Russell, Olajuwon Kareem, Jokic, Malone,Pippin, Giannis, etc
But you gotta have that big 3.
LeBron has played 20 seasons and won 4 championships.Another angle to this is Obama knows some of these contemporary guys, has played ball with some of em and of course would have some loyalty.
It clearly wasn't an objective assemblage
of the best players all-time.
MJ belongs and I can see Olajuwon, who I think is one of the most underrated great players.
But let's be objective: I'm a Boston guy but MJ is the GOAT.
Magic has a claim to #2, but so do Russell and Kareem. No one else should ?evah be in the GOAT top 4 cept those guys. Not even close.
Not Wilt. LeBron? Pleeeaaase. Thats a bad joke. Objectively, Lebron is in the top 7 but not in the top 4. He gets there due to longevity.
Sr or Jr?How long will Lebron play?
His son will NEVER be established at the NBA level.Sr or Jr?
Sr who knows. Gut tells me he'll stick around so his son gets established at the NBA level.
Jr the kid should be sent to the G league ASAP
He is established as the worst player on any roster. His son will NEVER be established at the NBA level.
No question. His son will NEVER be established at the NBA level.
This team is just absurdly stackedESPN has been ranking the top 100 players again this year( partially based on what they ?think these players will do this year as well as past performance.)
They actually did a pretty good job.
The C's landed 6 count em 6, which is way more than anyone else, as it should be.
All 5 starters plus Big Al.
Then they landed all 5 starters in the top 50.
The biggest shock to me was the Top 10 which is exactly the order I wouldve picked.
I was afraid they'd list the old timers too high(Durant, Steph,Lebron) ...but NO!!
None of em made the top 5 which they shouldn't.
Jokic, Luka and Giannis 1,2,3 in that order which was pretty easy to pick.
Jayson Tatum at #5!!!
Jaylen Brown was #14, right about where I would've put him.
DWhite and Jrue both were ranked pretty high.
Not telling us anything we didn't know.
But the national perspective on the C's is pretty much the same as ours.
Repeating is very, very hard. KP out til around Xmas doesn't help, I worry about Al getting overworked.
Kornet and Tillman are the main 2 bigs.
I like Queta but he just hasn't shown much in preseason.
Good news is both Kornet and Tillman have looked good. Hopefully these 2 see the opportunity they're both gonna have.
I like the makeup of this team. They really jelled as the season went on and have toughness and smarts. And they play DEFENSE.
They're also still pretty young, Jrue and Al the only 2 a little long-toothed but both playing as well as they ever have.
If KP can stay healthy going into the playoffs, I like our chances.
