Celtics 2024-2025 Discussion

Queta has been terrible these past two games. As in he has looked like a G-Leaguer posing as a starter.

Let’s hope there is room to grow but he has been lost on defense and is poor at finishing on the offensive end.

Bordering on WNBA level quality

Tatum’s shooting hitch is back

Y'all notice Tatum wincing like he was in pain after making that last shot? He looks out of it tonight

Great finish by Tatum and Brown, taking over down the stretch.

How did we win by 12 lol

100% agree. The foul to give, maybe that’s baked into the strategy, but it’s stupid when teams are fouling while already the bonus limit and using it to their advantage. Would have no issue if in the last 20 seconds of the game, a foul results in 1 free throw and keep possession, like a technical or flagrant. Some variation of that.

Nice win but last minute makes my blood boil.

Why do other teams draw up plays for open game winning shots? Reid missed it, but it was well designed. Edwards baited the defense.

They were only in position to win because prior to that, the Celtics used their “1 minute offense” with a 2-point lead. Brown (not Tatum this time) dribbling around for 20 seconds before chucking up a contested 28 foot 3 pointer despite being in the bonus and a 3 not being much better than a 2 in that situation.

Again Tatum took an unbelievably terrible shot before halftime as well. Screen and roll, White had space and was rolling off it.

I don’t get why any coach thinks these are good shots, iso’ing and chucking, other than the idea it ensures the buzzer sounds before change of possession.

Joe has to call the timeout when he sees the offense in disarray like that. We got lucky today.

Reid was open but if I’m the Wolves I take my chances having Ant take the shot against Jaylen given he was hot from distance.

Ant should have just finished on a reverse layup.

Damn this guy is an 81 year old lifelong sports columnist…”White is the nba’s most imperturbably elite 2-way guard since Walt Frazier…”

It will keep being their biggest threat to winning until it isn’t. They avoided it last year during the playoff run because the games weren’t close
