Everyone was under more scrutiny. Our oldest played in the 90's and I used to ask him about that. He said that he never saw anything suspicious.
You've never played team sports in your life, have you?I can not agree. Those that keep quiet are ****ies IMO. Sorry, I agree with you like 99% of the time, but in this one specific case you are off the rails. It is OK to stand up and say something is wrong. Tatum knows something is wrong, White knows something is wrong. Even though those guys are your teammates, it is OK to say this ****ed up. Sorry, I mean no insult, but you have your head up your ass.
When it was decided to play NBA players in the Olympics versus amateurs. It was decided that an NBA team has no say about players playing in the OlympicsDon’t know why everyone’s so all fired-up about the… Olympics…
If I were the team’s owner, I wouldn’t allow ANY of my players to participate in ANY competitive basketball-related activities that doesn’t involve the Boston ****ing Celtics. Are the ****ing Olympics going to provide us a similar player if one of ours gets injured under their watch? Yeah didn’t think so.
Just say **** NO to ANY of ours playing for THEM.
Nike stuff is overpriced crap.He should have been chosen AHEAD of Leonard. Leonard hasn't played more than 60 games in a season for 7 years and is clearly on the decline. And yes, Brown wore Nikes. He also removed the Nike label from the shoes.
Played team sports all my life. Still play team sports multiple times a week in my 60s.You've never played team sports in your life, have you?
Bought some all black athletic Skechers for the gym the other day at a discount store. $40 marked down from $70. They’re just as good as Nikes, maybe better. Buying them for my kids too.Nike stuff is overpriced crap.
And I find myself rooting against Nike's players in golf.
Excluding video games? Seriously, Lebron rules and that is all I have to say about that. Though mama always did say that "life was like a box of Count Chocula, Jaylen honey, you never know if you're gonna get bit."Played team sports all my life. Still play team sports multiple times a week in my 60s.
You've never disagreed with anyone and acted respectfully in your life, have you?
Do you think it's head-in-ass syndrome?Team USA kinda sucks

Have not bought Nikes since the 90s. I’ve always hated the style, the showiness, the cheap materials and gimmicks. And I hate the swoosh, makes me feel like I’m a moron and sellout, dependent on a logo to feel good.
Are you serious?Played team sports all my life. Still play team sports multiple times a week in my 60s.

I said they’re just as good, maybe better. They’re also half the price. I thought it was implied by the price point Skechers aren’t high end shoes with fantastic materials but they’re functional and don’t cost $150 due to marketing and hype.I bought my first pair of Skechers recently. The soles are made of foam pucks and are already wearing out from working out on an elliptical machine. I also bought a pair of Nike Tatum Zoos and they are just as cheaply made as the Skechers. Calling out Nike for using cheap materials and holding up Skechers as a better alternative is a bit shortsighted. They both use cheap materials.
Are you serious?
Do you think your post responding to RW was respectful?
You think throwing a teammate under the bus publicly is respectful? Is that something you'd do to one of your teammates?
Teams are bigger than individuals.
There are times the right thing to do is shut your yap. The "****y" move is dissing a teammate.
It turns out it was unintentional by JB but showed poor judgement. Yes he has a legit beef. But the tweet was not the best
way to demonstrate it.
JB and White are good with it.
Man, I disagree with people all the time and very, very rarely will I ever get into name- calling or disrespect.
Are you kidding me right now? No one acts more disrespectful during disagreements on this board than you. You've never disagreed with anyone and acted respectfully in your life, have you?
The ultimate passive aggressive statement: "No offense, but I will now say something offensive."Sorry, I mean no insult, but you have your head up your ass.
A ridiculous and lewd way of making your point.Maybe you were day drinking when you made your post?
Are you going to start sucking Xi's **** to preserve the Chinese market? Not me. The Asians suck my ****.
Is this what you mean by "agreeing with someone and acting respectfully?" Or does that just apply to everyone except you?I have no idea how to respond to such a clueless post (in a higned or unhinged manner).
One of our sons lived in China for 6 years. One time when he came home he had on a pair of New Balance sneakers, only they weren't New Balance sneakers, they were a Chinese lookalike. The funny thing he showed me was that they weren't sneakers at all but just a thin material without much sole. They were basically slippers pretending to be New Balance sneakers.I bought my first pair of Skechers recently. The soles are made of foam pucks and are already wearing out from working out on an elliptical machine. I also bought a pair of Nike Tatum Zoos and they are just as cheaply made as the Skechers. I paid about $90 for these Skechers and the Nike Tatum Zoos were about $100. $10 difference. Not half the price.I said they’re just as good, maybe better. They’re also half the price. I thought it was implied by the price point Skechers aren’t high end shoes with fantastic materials but they’re functional and don’t cost $150 due to marketing and hype.
All of the athletic sneakers wear out relatively quickly, especially if you walk/run a lot. Might as well plan to buy a pair fairly often if you want them to feel new.
I love Hokas, but they break so easily, so I’ve stopped buying them since they’re expensive and don’t last.
Also @Clonamery you responded to my post but your reply is invisible. Check to see if I’m on one if your Ignore lists.
I’m not a real expert on it and it was only one game but general observations.Do you think it's head-in-ass syndrome?
Fyi the latest is that Team USA essentially axed Leonard despite Leonard wanting to play and the Clippers wanting him to play.Sorry- I don't buy Hill's explanation.
Sure but they chose Kawhi for his pot'l contribution to the team (points, D, etc) which is aligned with JB's skill-set.
The logic for subbing JB for Kawhi is more logical than subbing White for him.
White is a fine choice- that is not the issue.

You're free to spew whatever personal attacks come into your brain, and call anyone who doesn't like it "too sensitive," but as soon as anyone says anything you don't like, you cite "lack of respect."
The ultimate passive aggressive statement: "No offense, but I will now say something offensive."
A ridiculous and lewd way of making your point.

These quotes from you are just in the last few days. Anyone who wants to take a few minutes will see that there are many, many more all over the board. It's a shame, because you actually bring some good points sometimes, but it gets lost in your "old man yells at cloud" style of communication.
Feel free to brandish your usual tools: play the victim to the barbs while throwing out plenty of your own.
