I think the worst loss in NBA finals history is 42 points, it would be nice to avoid beating that. Just lose by 35 and get the **** out of town

Worst finals blow out was 1990 Bulls over Jazz. This is worse. 6 seed over best team in the league.

Just a thought about Tatum’s offensive struggles…

As you all know I’m an efficiency guy…so I’m not a fan of midrange shots. That said, the midrange can be an effective tool if the opponent is contesting the 3 and flooding the lanes. Dallas isn’t giving Tatum anything easy, but he does have these pullup options. I think he needs to capitalize on these opportunities to break their coverage. He was a midrange player for awhile in his career and has the tools. And if this is a grind it out type of game, these shots become more valuable. I think he should get the green light to start taking some.

Brown has done this which had made him more successful in the postseason.

First terrible game in about a month. I'm not getting too down on them, the Celtics didn't have it on either end today. I'm sure they'll respond in Game 5.

Some trivial **** that I know doesn’t matter but I’m annoyed so what the hell:

— I didn’t like Tatum’s press conference when he talked about how “you’ll say we didn’t beat anybody.” You’re a game away from the title and you’re worried about the press?

— I hate when guys are miked up, because everything they say sounds so artificial, because they know they’re miked up. Just stop

—Get Tatum‘s kid off the floor during warm-ups. Play with your kids after you win, before the game put your game face on

— I withdraw my support of Mazzulla and I withdraw my comparisons of this team to the 2003–2004 Pats until they win. I mentioned how the Celtics lost to the Lakers by 30- something in the 80s before they won the title, but they didn’t lose like this in a close out game

I don't see how anyone could look at that debacle as anything but an embarrassment. If Dallas takes game five (they shouldn't), hold on to your hat. I wonder if Porzingis will be pressed into action.

Celtics beat Pacers by 50 in regular season then got stomped in IST.

Celtics currently -2500 to win championship.

Celtics -7 next game (no adjustment to line by objective professionals.)

Dallas hasn't shown the offensive ability to go beyond corner threes and lobs to their role players. It wouldn't surprise me to see Boston blow them out tonight. They're an infinitely better squad with a coach pulling all the right strings (who'd have thought, huh).
