I would prefer Boston closed out the series in 4 games.

To keep my stress levels down, sure. But the hard fought battles are more satisfying later.

Watching Donkey play has made me dislike the Mavs. No doubt he is good but all the jawing with the crowd is just annoying.

Celtics seem to be a team that is all about business, not individuals. I'm looking forward to the defense shutting Luka up.

Yeah Luka and Kyrie just owned them.
I was very disappointed in Wolves.
They just hung their heads and quit.
Inexcusable. They deserved to be booed.

Ant is just a kid,only 22 so hopefully he learns from this. Talent alone is not enough in the nba or any top pro league.

Exactly right. Minnesota is an inexperienced team. They really hadn't been on thar stage before. The mavs just created mismat problems for them. To your point the wolves caved. Yeah Edwards is young and just has to mature a bit. That team will be in the mix for the next few years.. Conley probably retires. The mavs aren't a cake walk for us as thier size with afford and the other kid take away the lanes for the Js. We have to be on point. Hope Joe is putting on film of the 22 finals and how we gave that to golden state.

I'm not sure how much of those antics Jaylen Brown will put up with. Him or Jrue will say or do something.
The Celtics should send a "best of Luka" flops and jump backs/sideways trying to draw a foul, just from the playoffs, to the NBA offices so the refs know what to look for. They know but they don't enforce it. There's 3 refs and none are paying attention. The worst of the bunch is Tony Brothers. Oh my goodness is he bad. He may cost us a game with his BS calls and non calls.
I played ball for over 30 years so I know acting when I see it.

Broadcasters last night at end of game were talking about this. Surprisingly good analysis from the national guys. They pointed out the big difference between Celtics and Mavs are:

A. Holiday and White are quick while the Wolves don’t really have anyone like this. McDaniel is more of a brawler type.

B. The Celtics are excellent at switching on pick and rolls. The Wolves aren’t.

C. When switching, Brown and Tatum as wings are much better at defending the Mavs duo than the Wolves have with bigs.

D. And the key, I think, is that Luka and Kyrie will score plenty of points. But it’s going to be lower efficiency. The Celtics can let them take a million tough shots. They can’t allow them to dribble around and find easy assists.

Agreed. I didn't really understand what the Celtics meant when they said Porzi is good in P&R defense. After watching the Wolves big men I now understand a lot better.

I don’t care that much but I understand that Boston fans will never let an epic grudge go to waste. Kyrie has engaged himself in it and is in good part responsible for the response he gets.

Kyrie leaving was a blessing in disguise at the time. I’m not a “**** Kyrie” guy but I definitely don’t want to see him winning the championship against us. That would sting a little extra.
