Celtics 2023 - 2024 Discussion

+20 because he was playing alongside Tatum.
Partly. Tatum was unbelievable.

I wasn’t saying White was the best player on the court tonight, but I’m astounded at his court IQ on fast breaks and whenever he has the ball. He always finds the weak point in the defense and has zero selfishness.

As opposed to an embarrassing idiot such as yourself. Are you gonna tell us some more about how Hauser should be starting over Brown or how Brown is the worst player on the team? How you have the balls to post anything whatsoever about basketball is a complete mystery.

You sound really triggered. How’s your Bill Belichick apologist tour going these days? What was that, five years of being a moron?

Brown has improved his BPM to 0.0. Amazing stuff.

I remember people used to always point out +/- when talking about Marcus Smart when he was here, despite many games where his basic stat line was junk. It’s helpful to some degree but you put a painful amount of emphasis on it.

Tatum, Brown, White and KP are playing at an All-Star level. You don’t need to check out the BPM to come to a conclusion easily reached by simply watching the game.

I agree to a point. When trying to understand how well a unit plays together I think +/- is a big deal. I
There was a time Smart was a major contributor to the starting unit.

Personally when evaluating players I care more about individual efficiencies, win shares, etc.

I remember way back in the 2023 offseason
when people used to use things like BPM,
+/-, efficiency stats, and other analytics to show White >>> Smart, Porzingis >>> Smart, and Holiday >>> Smart but that didn’t stop a cry fest from fans about “the eye test,” “energy,” and their ability to “watch the game” and conclude the team will struggle without him.

Jaylen Brown has a BPM of 0.0. He might make the all star team but he doesn’t deserve to. You put way too much emphasis on high volume shooting and scoring. See how that’s working out for the Bucks these days. That said I’m happy with Brown’s improved game. It’s getting better.

You're an idiot.

You're an idiot.
Team Bill’s cowardly dumb **** is now Team Jaylen’s cowardly dumb ****. Time is a flat circle.

Remember your 5000 dislikes for every critical thing said about Mac Jones too? Lol

“Team Jaylen” just means people who watch the games and recognize him having a damn good season and making significant strides still. Not much more than that. It’s not like any of us are saying he is the best on the team or better than Tatum.

It’s your opinions such as “Hauser is more valuable” which are the fringe and laughable.

1. I’ve said multiple times Brown has improved and I like how he’s been playing. Weird you and Rochrist rarely acknowledge when I say anything positive about him but are like triggered girls when I post his 0.0 BPM (not my opinion, a fact) or disagree that he’s playing at an all star level.

2. You’re just strawmanning at this point when it comes to Hauser/Brown. Off-ball Hauser being a better fit than ball-centric Brown with four all stars is not at all a crazy idea. Again look at the massive improvement the Clippers made doing this with Westbrook / Mann. It doesn’t mean Mann is a better basketball player than Westbrook. It works better for the rotations and team flow. I’ve already explained this many times.

Jaylen Brown might be the only player ever to be better at turnaround, fadeaway jump shots than straight uncontested jump shots

25 in the first half for Brown, pretty much taken over the game. That Halliburton injury looked rough.
