He looked to pass first and sure enough eventually he got higher percentage shots and better matchups. The Brown-Porzingis combo is what might elevate Brown, but it’s up to him.
-Jrue Holiday is in a very long shooting slump, and I hope he snaps out of it soon. Maybe this is a normal valley for him.
-This is like 4-5 games in a row they’ve crapped away a huge lead, much like past JT/JB teams. Was disappointed that with a 10 pt lead but losing momentum JB launches down court for a quick low pct shot, but I think JT is the other half of the problem late in games. It’s like he needs to be court general. They need to give the ball to Jrue or White, slow down, burn 8 seconds, and play their normal offense.
-KP with another monster game.
-Sam Hauser has an awesome shot arc, which is probably why I like his game more than most people. I used to shoot a high arcing 3…his is about as high arc as NBA players get. Also don’t know if my eyes are giving me bias but it seems like his on ball defense is outstanding. Would like to see OppFG% against him. He plays great fundamental d with his hips. Telling you all this guy is very underrated.
-Pritchard finally breaking out.
-Season is so weird how all these guys are up and down like yo yos.
Let's hope Pritchard and Hauser are not yo yos. Maybe not great every night but both should grow and expand as the year goes on. They will gain valuable experience and play against the other team's bench players. Hopefully their growth and lower competition will elevate them. If those two guys steadily improve, we will be a great team.
He’s training hard to get thereI probably should have included KP. Not sure what his upside is, but it seems like he could grow a lot too.
I don't recall any team losing big leads late in games as much as the Celtics. What was it this time, 16 point lead with under 5 minutes left? And you're right, we could tell that it was going to happen and it seems to happen far more often than not.Really good game from Jaylen Brown tonight, a lot of very nice passing from him to go with the points.
Our late game offensive execution is still lacking. You could tell that 16 point lead was going to collapse to a one possession lead in minutes.
I think we still need to cut them a bit of slack. There is locker room chemistry and on the court chemistry and in hoops one weighs heavily on the other. Lots of new players in new roles and we're not even 20% through the season.-JB played to his max capacity.. -KP with another monster game. I’m baffled at why there weren’t multiple teams offering a lot for him. Yes he’s an injury risk but look at what he adds to the court. All this talk about Wemby and you had another freakishly tall high impact guy just sitting there on the trade market. He should have been an all star and maybe even all nba last season.

Yea that is not a good trend. MIL is a solid team with a ton of talent so sometimes maintaining big leads vs top-tier opponents is hard.I don't recall any team losing big leads late in games as much as the Celtics. I'd like jrue to look for his shot more. He's a very save scorer. He seems to defer to much to the other guys. I would like him to look for his shot more.No. Pritch and Hauser are serviceable off the bench. Kornet is fine as a 5th big.
Champ won't play at all. He might be the only one.
Agreed. I like the athletic Big man that played the other night. I'm not expecting Porzingis to play 82 games. So I'd like to see him have more minutes.I think we still need to cut them a bit of slack. There is locker room chemistry and on the court chemistry and in hoops one weighs heavily on the other. ....all this and they are on a pace to win well over 60 games.
He is a PG. He is supposed to defer. We want him getting the ball to better scorers in better positions to score. Plus hes shooting 42% from two and 33% from 3.I'd like jrue to look for his shot more. He's a very save scorer. He seems to defer to much to the other guys. Queta vs the Griz? Yea he was active but not polished offensively at all.Agreed. I like the athletic Big man that played the other night. I'm not expecting Porzingis to play 82 games. So I'd like to see him have more minutes.
Right. But he's a capable scorer and is very reliable shooter. I'm not saying I want him putting up 20 shots a game. But can still be more aggressive to take some pressure off the other guys. If Holliday is aggressive and still distributes the rock this team is a mismatch with everyone they play.He is a PG. He is supposed to defer. Quotation. Yes thank you. I like his game. Like to see him spell Porzingis more.Queta vs the Griz? Yea he was active but not polished offensively at all.
I have no problem with him shooting a little more as long as he is efficient in doing so.Right. But he's a capable scorer and is very reliable shooter. Agree. The Heat are grinders.I still think the team they have to beat come playoffs is the heat.
Hes more athletic than Al and Kornet but rougher around the edges.Quotation. Yes thank you. I like his game. Like to see him spell Porzingis more.
They play “kill the clock” when it is within 3-4 minutes. But that type of play often results in iso’ing when the shot clock goes down.I don't recall any team losing big leads late in games as much as the Celtics. Yes. The heat reminded of the NBA version of the old patriots teams. Never out of it, and tough come playoffs time.I have no problem with him shooting a little more as long as he is efficient in doing so.

Is absolutely like to see him with some more minutesHes more athletic than Al and Kornet but rougher around the edges.
