The team wins at a higher rate without him dating back years. Their net rating on both sides of the court improve without him. On the eye test, they move the ball with such ease when he’s not out there rather than reducing it to iso ball. He kills all the ball movement.Should be Celtics -20 because of that Ice loves me

Their defense is suffocating when they have five defenders playing great help-side and crashing the boards, rather than four guys doing that and one guy walking around doing nothing, literally jogging while standing up.
It’s not surprising that the group of subs who supposedly “suck” and were cited as the reason Brown’s +|- was so bad, suddenly all played their best game of the season without him.
He is literally the worst player on the team playing a ton of minutes and wasting a ton of offensive opportunities, they’d be 11-0 without him, and if they don’t figure it out they won’t a championship.
Holiday and White may be the best backcourt in the NBA. But both are limited with playmaking when he’s on the the court.
This was not a fluke.
I have to say I didn’t realize how much the Cs were getting in Holiday. I was hoping they’d figure out a way to get Chris Paul to help in close games but they went way beyond. Didn’t see this last April but The Athletic did a player’s poll and Holiday won easily as best defensive player in the league and also most underrated player in the league.
Yes and White has improved to be such a skilled point guard and playmaker in his own right that they can rotate the two and rarely have gaps when one of them isn’t in the game. Last season they struggled to get competent point guard play from anyone. He's a helluva player. Derrick White ain't no slouch either.
Love our backcourt.
Are you going to enjoy the season and root for all of our guys or are you just going to talk down about Jaylen Brown all season? It’s pretty evident that you are generally rooting for Brown to have a bad game which is kind of sad for a fan.Anyone who is still slurping for Brown is delusional. Quite a crybaby response to this post don’t you think Mr We Can’t Win Without Jaylen! pom pom boy? I’ve been posting plenty about other Celtics stuff so it’s funny you point out I only focus on negatives then scan through my posts and respond to only the one you see as negative. Are you going to enjoy the season and root for all of our guys or are you just going to talk down about Jaylen Brown all season? The act is wearing thin.
This is the stupidest take I've ever seen.Hauser can absolutely replace Brown.
-Better ball movement
-Better shooter
-Better defender
-More shots for JT, KP, JH, DW
-Better overall efficiency
-Team won’t lose games because of the huge inefficiency crater from a guy who takes 20 shots per game and often looks lost and unmotivated
Look, addition by subtraction occurs all the time in the NBA. Jaylen Brown currently is hurting the team but is playing second most minutes. Because his all-around game is so bad, he’d need to shoot over 50% merely to break even. It isn’t going to happen consistently even if he has hot stretches which he will.
Having a guy like Hauser, who is simply a solid spot shooter, would be an ideal fit for an offense with multiple star players who like to create shots and are constantly changing the spacing, whereas an iso player like Brown doesn’t fit, and he is a low efficiency iso player to boot.
Another sterling insight. If Embiid plays he’s gonna feast without KP
Oh I guess you missed last night’s game when every single one of those were true. Such bad timing for you on this post. This is the stupidest take I've ever seen.
Shouldn’t you be sucking Bill’s **** and telling us how stupid we are for criticizing those decisions? I know you’re in a really deep hole now and a clown homer reputation, but perhaps doubling down on being a team homer and dismissing logic isn’t the your best play.Another sterling insight.
LMFAO. He is actually trying to tell us Sam Hauser should replace Jaylen Brown. This is the stupidest take I've ever seen.
I don’t have mixed feelings because I am not rooting against any of the starters who I think all of them are excellent. You do not share the same mentality as you want to root against a key player on the team.Quite a crybaby response to this post don’t you think Mr We Can’t Win Without Jaylen! pom pom boy? Did you have mixed feeling last night seeing how great the Celtics played (their best game of the season) without Brown? All I hear from you are ad hominem attacks and cliches. If you’re going to respond to one of my posts, respond to my points. You just look weak and defensive.
Certainly having mouth breathing fans and pundits kick and scream about a a controversial move like this would put any GM and coach under pressure. It’s against common wisdom even though the team is better without Brown. The team is basically creating a special role for him with KP like a Jokic-Murray lite pick and roll game since it’s a basic concept and still kind of an iso but takes advantage of KP’s height and JB’s shotmaking and athleticism. And you just told to rochrist to suck a ****. Who is the defensive one, again? I’m just calling you out for god awful takes such as “Replace Brown with Hauser”.
Tell each player and coach on the Celtics that they’d be better off getting rid of Brown and putting Hauser in as his replacement. I guarantee they’d all laugh in your face, including Sam Hauser.
