Yeah, I agree. Seems to be a NBA thing where they do an iso on the last shot. I never understand why they don't work for a better shot.

Someone referenced the 1981 eastern conference finals here recently, so I just watched that to see the ball movement

Couple other things that jumped out about that game was how ignored the three point shot was, it just wasn't part of the game at all at that point. And Maxwell going after a fan and not being ejected. Those were the days

He was 10-21, but I guess my issue isn't so much Brown taking the shot as the team settling for a three there. But that's a chronic thing

Great comeback tonight almost pulled it off. Porzi had a clean look at a 3 to send it to OT.
Jalen Brown was ?clutch at the end with the huge 3 followed by the big block on Maxey. He had a rough night before that but kept his head in the game.
Gotta give credit where it's due. Though some of the haters here won't, I'm sure.
I'll never understand that mentality. I was one of the very few, maybe the ?only poster who said not signing gMeyersand signing JuJu was a big mistake.
I got ?pilloried for it. Ive never llikedJuju's game going back to Pittsburgh.
But once hes in a Pat's uni I cheer for him and want him to succeed,even if I think he won't.
Why would you even watch the Celtics if youre not gonna cheer every.single.player.on
For most of his time in Boston,hes been very good and a big part of their success.
For the past year,not as much.

Lol, calm down man. Overreact much?
They're incorporating 2 new players in their starting 5. It takes time to gel.
If they stay healthy, they'll likely be in the Finals.
I saw a great comeback- down 15 with 2 minutes to go and they're putting up the potential game-tieing shot at the buzzer.
I only saw the 4th quarter and they looked lackluster for most of it. But they had a chance to tie,on the road vs. one of the best teams in the nba .
You guys can wallow in your misery, I'm gonna enjoy watching them.

Absolutely he is a concern. On the bright side, Hauser is solid (and would be the lefect complementary 5th starter to replace JB). Pritchard is just not going to cut it. It’s obvious to anyone who isn’t a homer.

They badly need bench strength.

Before garbage time, he made two shots. Both were fast break trailer layups that he didn’t even create. Four turnovers.

He is lazy, a horrendous defender, a terrible passer, a terrible dribbler, doesn’t even try for rebounds, a below average shooter, a below average free throw shooter, and appears to no longer give a ****.

So a guy who does absolutely nothing besides shoot and score, went 46 minutes without a meaningful basket in a tough game.

Go on Twitter/X. Many long time Brown supporters are finally done with him…they see the light. He is the team’s biggest problem.

Worse than he's a bad passer and dribbler is that he thinks he's Maravich level at both. If he'd recognize his limitations at ball handling and play within them he'd be a lot less of a liability.
