Cassel's 11-5 Pats or Brady's 7-5 team?

My initial reaction was to side with those saying the 09 team is still better, but the more I look at it, the harder I find it to justify that. Which parts of this year's team are better than last year's? Quarterback, maybe the secondary slightly... I'm sort of struggling beyond that? Even taking into account the easier sched, last year saw a better running game, better offensive playcalling and gameplans, Gaffney was a better third option than we have now, the pass rush was better (granted still not great by any means), there was a hell of a lot more experience and leadership on defense, Mayo was playing heaps better, special teams were better.... hard to avoid the conclusion (for me at least) that last year's team, in the form it was in come December, wins that game we just lost today.

Easily Cassel's. We ran more screens with him as the QB, with Brady it's all deep throws. Which is more effective?

Last year.
