Carolina Panthers - San Francisco 49ers NFC Div Playoff Game

Yea I was rooting for the panthers to get rid of the most dangerous team in the playoffs, but no dice.

Let's face it, the NFC is simply in a different class than anything in the Afc.

I think we will beat the Broncos, but even with a top form Brady and big games from all our weapons, it's hard to see how we can challenge the hawks or 9ers.

Oh brother. We heard the same crap last year, and the Ravens won. The game will be played in a blizzard. The Patriots may lose, but it won't be by more than 7 points.

If last year's Superbowl is any indication, big-boy football (traditional passing QB, solid run game) beats the "new" fast football (read option)

Both 49ers and Seattle will and deserves to be fav against us...but I have no doubt Brady and c/o can put up 25pts against either teams and what makes SF and Seattle beatable is their limited O

I've generally agreed with this take, but the transformation of the Pats' style since the Miami loss is giving me hope. The Pats won last night with a very NFC-style win.

I just got back from church so I haven't been able to see the game yet. I am happy to hear that the 49ers won. I will watch the game later since I recorded it on my tivo.:rocker:

The next time CC is on the boards defending what a classy fellow Kaep is, we'll have to remind them of this game.

Kaepernik was mocked in another game by some other team they played earlier this season. I have to look through my DVR to find which game and what player mocked Colin. The person did the kiss of the bicep when they took kaepernik down. I don't take any of that seriously. I am sure it is all in good fun. To be honest I think some will look for any and every reason to say Colin is a bad person. Shoot if Colin doesn't smile in an interview some pick it apart. I am sure after the game Cam and Colin talked and neither dislike each other. Anyways no one is perfect and Kaepernik certainly isn't. Anyways back to football related matters. It was a good game between two good teams. Let's hope that the Pats and the 49ers make the Super Bowl.

I like our chances against Seattle more than San Francisco. I think Seattle's offense is pretty below average, Marshawn Lynch aside. Seattle's defense also can be run on and I would definitely expect to see us do that more than throw to guys covered by the likes of Sherman and Earl Thomas. The 49ers just play such solid defense at every level. The 49ers secondary is probably their weakest link but by league standards it is still way above average. I also think the 49ers have the elite defensive linemen that tend to give our OL fits this time of year. Either way, lets punch our ticket to the big dance first.

Although I really dislike Kaepernick, I thought it was well warranted (that mocking TD celebration) but ONLY because of the fact the person he was mocking, Newton, is even less classier, and much more of a c*cky little douche than he is.
