Fox broadcast is dull and boring, I don't get where the NFC is a boring conference! Is it because they play defense?

I tend to think it's just the branding - NFC is Fox, lot's of metallic uni's, the new hybrid QB's leading the charge. It tends to have kind of a Big 12 feel to it on the college level. Like I said, it feels synthesized. With teams like Carolina and Seattle, all the trash talking, it feels thuglike. The AFC feels more traditional, more of a Big Ten feel. Its QB's are more the traditional pocket passing types(Rivers, Roethlesberger, Manning, Brady, Luck). I feel like there are better longstanding rivalries and storylines imbedded in the conference.


It has nothing to do with the quality of football, which right now is better than the AFC.

I wouldn't call them a fraud. They beat the Pats with Gronk. They're just not as good as San Fran. It might have been closer if Steve Smith were healthy, but probably not much.

They beat the Pats with Gronk being tackled in the endzone to prevent him from moving in place to catch the game winner while the penalty flag was somehow picked up.

Lets give credit to the 49ers guys 3 straight NFC Championship appearances is no easy feat. They've been consistent and competitive since Harbaugh took over and play in a very difficult division. Good job Niners

Either team will be favored against us and rightfully so. Seattle has a secondary that can take away our small receivers, while SF can stop the run better than anyone. Only thing going for us if we get that far hopefully is having Tom and belichick in our corner

Difference is that SF's offense is more competent than Seattle's. I still have nightmares of Bolidin vs our secondary.

seattle lost to Arizona just a few weeks ago. we are better than Arizona in just about everything - i would even rate our defense as good as theirs. if arizona can do it against seattle so can we. SF however is playing the best football in the league right now - if only GB had knocked them out (and they had the chance to do so). Plus SF is not going to be afraid of playing in 25 degree weather in NJ since they already played and won in 5 degree weather in GB.
