Can we beat Denver on Monday? How?

I think Molewisrocks was the poster who pointed out that our D last week against the Bolts was concentrating on stopping their running game. I agree that we did a good job of that but we paid for it by not being able to stop their passing game.

I sincerely hope that we don't go the other way around, especially given the Broncos reputation for devising excellent schemes for their RBs.

If our D could devise some schemes to confuse Cutler and make him throw some INT, I think we can give our offense a longer leash to get something going.

I am not expecting MC to light it up but hope he does enough to keep the chains moving and put us in a position to score at least 20. Will Faulk and Morris be adequte to give ground support so that we could keep the drive going? I hope so...

And puhlease!! We better score if we are near 5 yds of the goal line. No more embarassing goal line failures...

And for ST: I hope they continue to do well and now start getting some points when returning kick-off returns and/or causing the Broncos to fumble close to our goal line.

GO PATS!!

if cassel cant cut up the #2 worst d in the nfl

what makes anyone think that he will do any better on the #1 worst d in the nfl

We do need MC to light it up. 20 points is not likely to close to enough.

I'm hoping that Ross and Neal play and provide help on the O-line. A stronger line would help Cassel give him time to get through his reads. It would benefit the running game as well.
