Looked it up. That’s the most he’s had in a game since the second game of his rookie season.

Great stuff. Hopefully McDaniels lets him open it up more next week.

Cam is an elite passer. Laser arm on these deep and medium throws. Trust Cam and open up the playbook

Also on goal line use the threat of both run and pass via RPO or play action rollout bootleg plays. Get more creative and aggressive using Cam

.

Wild to think of how many yards he would have had if Josh recognized what was working, rather than playing too cute with the playcalling. Hopefully that’s not the case moving forward.

And..... 2 less picks and 1 less fumble than that old guy

30-44 for 68% completion rate with 1 TD and 1 INT, also leading the team in rushing with 47 yards and 2 TDS. If Edelman catches that would-be TD throw at the end that went through his hands...whew.

I’m very curious what the folks that argued with me about Cam’s accuracy have to say after finally watching him play for themselves.

Seeing Cam playing now and in 2018 before TJ Watt wrecked his shoulder really makes you wonder what the Panthers were doing before that having him gun that deep so often. He clearly can execute the short/medium game quite well.

Carolina completely screwed up. Bridgewater is fine but he’s no Cam.

I've been high on Cam for years and seen many of his games, but he was never this accurate. As good as Wilson was, I was more impressed by Cam doing it with little to no help from our running backs.

Can we extend him and front load the heck out of the contract with all the space we have for this season? I know it’s only 2 weeks but I’m fudging sold

It's unlikely that the Patriots are going to do any sort of front-loading on an extension with the league looking at a 30-80M drop in the salary cap next year.

This year's cap started at $198.2M. The Pats have 131.8M in Top 51 for next season, but have 20 people who will hit free agency including Thuney, Andrews, White, Guy, Butler, and JC Jackson as an RFA.

Would be a shame not to try to add a TE or WR especially with the cap situation
Would be really nice to add an OBJ. But Schefter said that he got told the Browns have no intentions to trade him.

3rd most passing yards in a game for him, he had a couple of 400+ yards games his rookie year. In fact 3 of 4 year top passing yardage games were his rookie year.

So if you were wondering about him in this offense, first time they let him sling it he had a career game minus his rookie year

That’s unfortunate, I wasn’t on board for a Star WR before tonight but I’m now convinced they can make a push if they continue to gel together.

It's quite insane to think that his biggest passing games came in his rookie season. Still remember all that media gush over Mike Shula back in 2015. Then I look at the Panthers' offensive numbers with Shula outside 2015 and it's really mediocre.
