Cache cleared via Cloudflare again on this. Hopefully that fixes it...?

When you do it, it's back to being fast until the next day, when it's bad again. Maybe that's just the way it is? *shrug* I appreciate you trying.

I just cleared it again and I'm still trying to figure out where the issue is. The only other problem is I haven't been able to duplicate it on my end, so I haven't been able to pinpoint what script is hanging and preventing it from loading.

Yeah, I'm sorry. But there's such a speedy difference right after you do it. It's amazing.

Disabled something that has to do with the javascript. Keep me posted on this and let me know each time when you spot a slowdown. Might get a little annoying to have to do that, I know, but you're the only one who has been kind enough to say something, and it will help me hopefully get this figured out.

Sorry, it's still really slow loading the page. Also, even when a page does load quickly, any of the the quotes/boxes on it from twitter can take forever to load.

Purged the cache again. And I agree on the twitter embeds...those take forever.

I don't know what's going on with them, as they've only slowed down for me at the same time whatever this cache thing is popped up. After you clear it, the twitter embeds load a lot faster.

I've gotten some help from @h0c2000 in troubleshooting this, and I'm still tweaking some things. Have a handful of things I have to add/fix first before I dive further into it, but I'm going to make some changes based on what he's helped find out. Hopefully I'll get this resolved eventually.

@Ian I'm guessing you flushed that cache around noon EDT yesterday. I noticed expected responses until about 1530-ish. I even tried several other cloudflare dc's. It's always the Ashburn, VA one with the STALE responses.

I was in the office and was able to confirm my place's zero trust security suite sends the traffic through IAD dc when the client is installed. When it's not installed the traffic goes through their Neward dc.

I expected that based on what I've been seeing with my set up. I'm in central mass and for some reason my ISP routes my traffic through Ashburn, VA also. When I use a VPN to connect somewhere else I typically never go through DC area unless my VPN endpoint happens to be DC. Recently my office PC installed a zero trust connector client to forward all my traffic. Even though the endpoint connects to a host in Boston, the traffic is routed through DC.

So what I do now is just connect to patsfans using a VPN @home and use my phone at work.

Oof. I’m not sure the speed is worth turning on my VPN every time I want to go to Patsfans on my computer. And I don’t have a VPN for my phone.

I will say, it’s seemed faster the last day or so.

I purged the cache last night, so hopefully that helped as that seems to be what fixes it. I haven’t pinpointed the cause, but I’ll keep digging.

It's already bad again. The fix lasts for a couple of hours. That's why I don't want to bug you every time.

I think I've potentially found something that might be related. Just changed something, so just reply to this thing if it does it again. Not 100% sure if this was it, but it could be behind this.
