Bruins win the Northeast

The Bruins downed the streaking Devils 4-1 today to clinch the division with 9 games left. It was nice to finally see them get a win especially vs this very good Devils team with Brodeur in net.

The Bruins downed the streaking Devils 4-1 today to clinch the division with 9 games left. It was nice to finally see them get a win especially vs this very good Devils team with Brodeur in net.

Its great for them. They deserved it for all the hard work. It just anguishes me that it took so long. If they wouldn't of had the injuries to Sturm and Bergeron and the mono illness to Kessel this team would of had one of the best records in NHL history imo. Barry Melrose can suck on that when he goes on with his dribble about how much better the Sharks and Red Wings are than the East. Or how valiant the Devils played in the 2nd half of the season.
