Oh not sheltered..just don’t want upset anyone too much here with the reality that politics sometimes guide these players causes more than any moral conscience does.

I guess I could see the turmoil of a fan wanting their team to sign someone like that if they were perennial losers.

I believe he deserved a second chance, but not until the suspension was served. Basically would of made him focus more on his conseling and his future.

To my knowledge Hunt had 3 confrontations 2 with men and this one with a woman.

I can surely envision some guy trying to get under Hunts skin because it goes on all the time even when guys like Hunt are minding their own business.

Hopefully Hunt has learned that you call the police and walk away. I would give him another chance and that is all. I would not give Gordon another chance and I hope BB thinks the same.

The problem with that is that you can't be suspended if you're not on a team. He has to be signed first. Let's see what the NFL does.

I'm all for second chances and I'm all for stiff punishments for domestic violence. Let's see what message the NFL sends (not holding out hope for this one) and more importantly, let's see what this young man does with his second chance. He seemed to take ownership of it when he was cut so hopefully that contrition is something that will change and shape his future.
