Yeah it's kind of tongue-in-cheek, but it's sort of like an NBA type deal. Denver gains massive cap relief, NE gains a pick, an improvement at WR and an improvement over their current QB.I will take your numbers as correct, but why would the Patriots want Wilson? Payton wants Wilson gone because he isn’t very good. There is no point in trading for him. They aren’t winning with Wilson and neither would the Patriots.
I don’t want to trade away one QB who isn’t working out and may becoming a problem in the locker room for another QB isn’t working out who seems to be a problem in the locker room where he goes.
