Well, you know what that means. The Broncos' season is over because they are horrible (just ask all the Sky is Falling people who said the same thing about the Pats after they lost to Miami and they beat the Chiefs). The Chargers' and Bills' seasons are hanging in the balance too.

You know, that wasn't all that dumb of a thing. With one second left in the half, it a low risk, very low percentage play. I'd probably not do it, but if I am Lane Kiffin why not? The odds of him seeing November as the Raiders' Head Coach is about as good as hitting a 76 yard field goal.

Oh hey, I don't think it was necessarily dumb either considering the alternative being a hail mary. However the overall management of the plays leading up to that was bad.

Thats what ticks me off and we have Cassel as our starting QB on a year like this.If we had a veteran QB we would make some noise but we have Matty Cassel.

I do agree that if the Pats had Brady, the would walk away with the AFC easily. But I also look at it as this is the best year for the Pats to be without Brady. There is no dominant team in the NFL and the Pats are good enough to be in the mix for a Super Bowl run if it continues that no team stands out as an elite team in the NFL.

Ah, yes. Even after a day of games showing you can't read too much into one game's performances. People are going to harp on the Pats' supposive shaky defense. Let's see the defense a few more games before we talk about them being shaky.

I'm hearing a strong rumor that the Broncos are offering the Pats Jay Cutler and their first round pick for Kevin O'Connell.
