Colts d can't get off the field...

They got a great kicker though - even KO's for touchbacks.

He sure is expensive though.

Eh... I don't believe I asked how we can beat the Colts. I merely made a note on how quickly they can score.

I wasn't actually referring to your post....someone else said they don't see us winning next week....forget who, though.

eta: I would like to say, though, that a quick strike from that field position isn't unusual. I mean, looking back on our game with Cincy, when we forced turnovers that deep, we scored pretty quickly too.

wow oakland is still leading, 13 to 6. Is Worthlessburger still the QB over there?
Yup, and he's having a really bad day: 52 yards passing and 2 Int's, one for a TD.

All I know is next week will be a shoot out. We should be able to run the ball at will against Indy's D and they should be able put up some points against our defense.

That's the same thing I was expecting when we faced the Bengals.

fwiw we were talking about doogie during halftime

rooting for the defenses hasn't been going so well

I expect a full slew of "Should he have been playing with that concussion?" stories just to continue the ones we had questioning that decision this week.

This game is atrocious. Denver is taking "winning ugly" to a whole new level this year. I never thought I'd see the Colts of all teams get dragged into a muckfest with Denver. I can see Denver going 14-2, then being bounced early in the playoffs because of Plummer. Let's hope Plummer does just enough to stick around, or Jay Cutler really sucks (though I highly doubt it), because the QB position is the only thing really holding the Broncos back at this point. Champ Bailey for Clinton Portis is still one of the greatest heists in NFL history.

exactly, we were supposed to get crushed that game.

Yes. I think they should put Charlie Batch in. Oakland is fired up though, playing like a cornered rat/wounded animal.

As much as i love our Maroney draft pick - I have to admit Addai looks damn good. He is averaging over 5 yards a carry vs. a good Denver D.

Last years draft might become known as the 'year of the running back'. ie Maroney, Bush, Addai, J. Norwood (ATL), DeAngelo Williams, etc. - All have had some great games for rookies.

I agree. I mean, Ben isn't doing the team any favors at this point. I'm sure he doesn't want to come out, but at some point, the coach has to step up and do what's best here....for the team and for the health of a young QB.

You're onto something.

Agreed. I didn't think Roethsliberger should have played at Jacksonville either. Show your back-up (who's played well) that you have some faith in him, rather than giving off the impression that you'd rather play Roethlisberger even if he has a leg hanging off.

Is that just because it's in Denver? I didn't think Adam still had it in him.

Or a BIG nose hanging off.......

Either the Colts are really, really good or the Broncos just have our number. The Colts offense is just going through Denver's D like it's swiss cheese.
colts offense has been really good for last few yrs...our disdain for the colts doesnt allow us to mention it forthright many times...

He missed one from 45 last year in the playoffs when we played at Denver.
Makes me a little suspicious.
