Brian Holloway's House Trashed in a Flash Party

New generation, eh? It always seems so much worse than the last. I'm not going to sit here and be a hypocrite since I know my generation did a lot of stupid stuff too, myself included. Teens will be teens. But, they do need to be punished. The least they could have done is help clean the man's house when he offered them a way out(I know I would have been one of the 4 to do so) and their parents....they need to pay up!

The only thing I know is the stupidity seems to be at a higher level.

Exactly.

These kids and their parents should be doing an on the ground mea culpa.

That being said, I have to giggle a little at the Gen X'ers in here claiming how different their childhoods were in the "late 90's and early 00's" - - waaaaay back in the day!

After thinking about this some more it occurred to me that these pathetic excuses for parents look at this as a chance to make a quick buck. Pro football player =$$$$$$$ Not because they're outraged that their little darlings were outed

It's probably both. I don't underestimate the penchant for helicopter parents to gasp in outrage that someone dare insult their children (by pointing out what they've done)

Good luck on getting millions from Brian Holloway. He was retired long before people were making 10 million a year.

My wife noted last night that the parents are threatening to sue because he dared to post names online.

PS - the names he posted online were already posted online on the social media thread made for the gathering.

If Brian gets arrested for posting the names/photos of those kids online then all of the kids who originally posted those photos should also get arrested. I wonder if those parents fully thought out the fact that little Jimmy might also be posting pics of underage children online and get arrested as well

And then we have this - Holloway on Fox and Friends and this

These kids (and parents) should feel fortunate that Holloway isn't pressing charges. With them posting their exploits on the internet, it would be a slam-dunk case. Holloway is being much nicer than I probably would be.

Flash parties eh?

It seems that there will be life after the NFL for Branden Meriweather. Flash Party Starter.

Agreed that Holloway retire a looong time ago, but they probably look at his house and think he has millions socked away.

+2 I know i wouldn't wouldn't do what Holloway did. I would have filed charges and brought the parents to court and make them pay for the damages.

Yup. What those kids did is terrible and they should face the full punishment for what they did.

That being said, your clips above certainly - and this one from a different vantage point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCwGnAiL9ok prove that Brian Holloway is not all there mentally.

Don't ever say Uncle Shmess didn't warn you about him 2.5 years ago:

Im from Albany this was like 20 minutes away from my house lol.

Sadly, Holloway is exhibiting symptoms of brain disorder. This is not an attempt at humor.

I agree. It's obvious that he's been mentally ill for several years.

Yet, celebrities and politicians are still making videotaped recommendations for him and the public to attend his leadership seminars.

Somebody needs to pull the plug and get this guy some help before it turns into a tragedy.

Little update if yall are interested...apparently only 4 of the 300 kids showed up to the BBQ soooo he decided to press charges on everybody hahahah what a boss. IMO the right move, kids need to learn one way or another, I had to so do they. Brian Holloway Wants Charges Pressed On The Teenagers Who Trashed His Home

Maybe you should have read the updates in this thread - - starting at post #29.

It's might not be his home anymore - - reports are that it has been in foreclosure. And the man has been proving that he is cray-cray the past couple of days. See the vid of his interview on Fox and Friends - - he probably will have some sort of legal problem with the next door neighbor he out-of-the-blue called a wife abuser on national television.

Holloway is deranged. This story is about to take several more twists. Hopefully he doesn't hurt himself.

6 arrests in vandalism of ex-NFL player's NY home | Boston Herald

ALBANY, N.Y. — Six people were arrested Thursday on charges they were among hundreds of young partygoers who trashed a former NFL player's vacation home, and police said more arrests were expected.

The arrests came after former New England Patriots and Los Angeles Raiders offensive lineman Brian Holloway said he signed papers authorizing the Rensselaer County sheriff to bring charges in the Labor Day weekend party, which was attended by up to 400 teenagers.

Holloway said that among those charged was a young man he had taken into his family for a time as a homeless teen, who's accused of organizing and promoting the party. He said investigators have told him the number of people charged could end up in the hundreds as they work through the sheer volume of participants.
