I'm not going to sit here and be a hypocrite since I know my generation did a lot of stupid stuff too, myself included. Teens will be teens. But, they do need to be punished. The least they could have done is help clean the man's house when he offered them a way out(I know I would have been one of the 4 to do so) and their parents....they need to pay up!
The only thing I know is the stupidity seems to be at a higher level.
After thinking about this some more it occurred to me that these pathetic excuses for parents look at this as a chance to make a quick buck. Pro football player =$$$$$$$ Not because they're outraged that their little darlings were outed
My wife noted last night that the parents are threatening to sue because he dared to post names online.
PS - the names he posted online were already posted online on the social media thread made for the gathering.
Agreed that Holloway retire a looong time ago, but they probably look at his house and think he has millions socked away. It's probably both. I don't underestimate the penchant for helicopter parents to gasp in outrage that someone dare insult their children (by pointing out what they've done)
Good luck on getting millions from Brian Holloway. He was retired long before people were making 10 million a year.
These kids (and parents) should feel fortunate that Holloway isn't pressing charges. With them posting their exploits on the internet, it would be a slam-dunk case. Holloway is being much nicer than I probably would be.
And then we have this - Holloway on Fox and Friends and this
Im from Albany this was like 20 minutes away from my house lol.

Apparently just the opposite. According to this report, the house was unoccupied, in disrepair and about to go to foreclosure.

Before anybody gets the wrong idea, I am NOT in any sense of the word justifying what those kids did......
Sadly, Holloway is exhibiting symptoms of brain disorder. This is not an attempt at humor.
Little update if yall are interested...apparently only 4 of the 300 kids showed up to the BBQ soooo he decided to press charges on everybody hahahah what a boss. IMO the right move, kids need to learn one way or another, I had to so do they. Brian Holloway Wants Charges Pressed On The Teenagers Who Trashed His Home
ALBANY, N.Y. — Six people were arrested Thursday on charges they were among hundreds of young partygoers who trashed a former NFL player's vacation home, and police said more arrests were expected.
The arrests came after former New England Patriots and Los Angeles Raiders offensive lineman Brian Holloway said he signed papers authorizing the Rensselaer County sheriff to bring charges in the Labor Day weekend party, which was attended by up to 400 teenagers.
Holloway said that among those charged was a young man he had taken into his family for a time as a homeless teen, who's accused of organizing and promoting the party. He said investigators have told him the number of people charged could end up in the hundreds as they work through the sheer volume of participants.
