He is i know for sure...

He was around for Josh Allen. No other Qb who played for him shows any benefit from playing for him

First, the Patriots would have to release him from his contract for that to happen. Second, why coach a mini-Maye when you can coach the real thing?
To the last question, BB is going to try to break Schulas record. So, JM would be all about that. In regards to QB, size does not matter in the NFL. I am 6 foot and taller than Drew Brees who walked right by me at SB46.

Contracts are broken all the time. BB would forfeit draft picks to get his guy.

Josh isn't leaving.
Josh isn't leaving.
Josh isn't leaving.
Josh isn't leaving.
Josh isn't leaving.

For ****'s sake people, stop with this.
The more we win the whackier the doom filled fears get

Maybe UNC will have a vacancy he can fill?
Daboll is an excellent offensive mind.. he'll end up in the league still.. I'm sure there are some teams with pathetic offenses that will be looking for an OC..

You make compelling points. At this point I believe it comes down to if BB is willing to make adjustments with his personal life.. as working for an NFL franchise is totally different than college.. the Mara family isn't going to put up with the BS..

Does he even want to come back to the NFL?
I think he'd probably love to come back to the NFL but my opinion is that the choice is made already and he doesn't come off as one to give up on a challenge.

So while I think he would want to come back I think for him continuing the job he has right now is more important.

Where it gets interesting is if UNC sees a way to get out from the money and it's actually a mutual thing then maybe something could materialize.

But I think its probably likely for tons of reasons UNC is likely his last stop.

It's like they can't live without drama for 5 ****ing seconds.
I figure by now the Red Sox induced fear of being hopeful had evaporated but it was so deep overcoming the curse only deepened it

COME HOME!

Unless you think McDaniels is going somewhere, he’s getting an OC job.

Maybe he would take a year here as a consultant. A “year off” kinda deal, like Mike did? But that’s it.

Good points. He's not getting younger.. what intrigues things for me.. is NYG is where he tasted his first NFL success.. and I'd like to see him go back to the NFL.. he and college will never seem right to me as a fan.. the guys a NFL savant.

I could certainly see the Bills having interest in bringing Daboll back.

I assume it will also depend on what becomes of Schoen. He would have to go if Bill were to entertain. It appears they will try Kafka who is one of those highly thought of OC's from the McVey tree.

Belichick to the Giants?

he won't get the gig... but if it was offered hell yeah he'd take it.... wouldn't even think twice about it...

i'd bet he has already made inquiries...

Daboll did not leave there on good terms.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Offensive consultant for the rest of the year.
