So here's the thing, friends.

This afternoon when the rumors were flying, I went to Vikings Splash Page to see if it was legit or not. What popped up was a picture of the ol' hillbilly and the words "Are You Ready 4 Some Football?"

And underneath it, "Limited Number of Season Tickets Packages Still Available!"

I e-mailed the link to my friend who went to Chiefs camp with me, and he promptly wrote back "Yeah right! They couldn't sell out a playoff game last year, what makes them think people will buy season tickets to see a guy on Medicare?!"

I don't care who y'are, that's funny right thar!

So basically it's a ploy to sell $12 million in jerseys before the regular season annual favre failure. Makes you wonder how much the jets made off of him. I personally know several people who bought favre jet jerseys. and yes, they are easy targets.

this kind of complaining is akin to whining for the subjective and petty opinion that a very relevant thread is somehow in the "inappropriate forum" ... did it sprain your eyes to have to actually see it? lol... did it hinder the site's bandwidth?....

does the Brett Favre saga seriously deplete your NFL focus? who cares? the man wants to waffle on a decision, let him waffle. If you were 39 and a sure Hall of Famer with more in the tank and a bitter taste in your mouth, I suspect you'd also have a hard time letting go of the game. He does not care what you think. Neither does the Minnesota front office.

I have no love for Brett Favre. But I will say, a Brett Favre with AP keeping pass rushers back on their heels? Could be fun.
