Mike Reiss on Weei now reporting AHern didn't make trip due to set back with his ankle. Also said from what BB was saying about Pats secondary there a very good possibility McCourty will be at safety. Reiss was asked what their sayn in London about Pats/Rams game he reported there's nothing in newspapers not a buzz at all. Also Pats practiced in a public park without any notice lol

Sucka for this week....But this is good nrws for the long run. Give him two weeks to rest up, he clearly needs it.

On that missed TD, he didnt get ANY lift off in the corner endzone. A healthy Hernandez makes that catch....A healthy Hernandez is needed for the long run!

While it is a shame that Gregory and Chung are both too hurt to play, the good news is that Dowling has finally shaken the "injury prone" label, and will be able to get some real time playing and showing how good a player he is. No doubt, he'll be starting along with Dennard, Wilson and McCourty.

Let the Ras-(no longer on)-IR Dowling era begin!

There couldn't possibly be a bigger loss than Hernandez against this particular team, the Rams. When I looked at the Rams defense the immediate spot I recognized as a glaring weakness is the middle of the field that our TEs work. Hopefully Gronk can have a 100+ yard day and some of our WRs can beat their CBs. I was really hoping we could victimize their LBs and Safeties.

Fells needs to show up against his former team.

Excellent point, unfortunate that AHern hasn't fully healed 'caus this game is ideal for Gronk/AHern to exploit Ram's Lbs, middle & shake loose on DBs. Ram's fans actually said it as well. Rather see him sit this out and get some more healing time with a Bye-Week comin up.

Let him rest. We dont need him to beat the Rams, the Rams tend to beat themselves.

Even worse, my man Glass IR is now on his eponymous Injured Reserve list

Don't ya know.

He's no longer clutch.

:bricks:
Hell, he's overrated, too. Just ask the rest of the NFL players. Oh, wait, just ask 180 of them and 5 of the 180 cited him as overrated, but ESPN considered that significant enough to warrant mention.

If you are rated the best ever, then you most certainly aren't underrated.

I have to say I'm disappointed I won't get to see Hernandez in Sunday, but I think it's the best thing for his long term health. He was clearly brought back too early. He needs the rest.

Better letting him have off 2 weeks, the Rams are formidable but not exactly Super Bowl caliber ...

Ouch. I hope that's not what people are saying about the Pats in December as many have already made similar comments about this year's team.

Hernandez should not have made the trip to Seattle. He should have stayed home to rest,
but our crappy medical staff thought otherwise, just as they thought that removing oldMankin$
from the PUP was a good idea.
