Yet when they do, you'll be telling everybody you knew it all along.

Season ticket holder since BP and you have never been this disgusted by the front office. I take that to mean you were fine with Bobby Grier.

Keep yapping pal. Your breathtaking stupidity becomes clearer with every character you type.

I never had any expectations during the Grier era. When they lost Martin, I just chalked it up to another case of Pats incompetence. I guess I never drank Belichick's kool aid when it came to free agency. He's a great coach, but in my opinion he's a lousy GM.

I cannot believe you guys take this idiot seriously enough to put any effort in trying to reason with him. The only proper response is intolerance of this knee-jerk farce. I cannot believe it.

Okay Jacky, I tried to debate with you thinking you were a reasonable, intelligent fan, but the above quote tells me you have no idea why the Pats have been winning.

First of all, Belichick isn't the GM. Second of all, what do you think about Richard Seymour, Tom Brady, Dan Graham, Matt Light, Dan Koppen, Deion Branch, David Givens, Vince Wilfork, Mike Vrabel, Roosevelt Colvin, Rodney Harrison, Eugene Wilson?

All of those players (I know I'm missing a few) were acquired during the Belichick era through draft or free agency.

You are an idiot. I'm not going to waste my time debating your points; you can't see reason. You have no idea why the Patriots have been winning.

Man, the concept of 'I never had any expectations' just illustrates how completely illogical you are. How, exactly, did you get the expectations you have now? Because they won. On calls made by this front office. Yet now, because you can't wrap your apparently limited imagination around these latest developments, all of a sudden they don't know what they're doing, and YOU do.

The bolded part just shows your abject ignorance as to how this stuff works. He's not the GM. There's an entire team of people that work on this stuff. He makes the final call, but if you think he's the only guy down there making this call, and the rest of the guys (including two time NFL Executive of the Year Scott Pioli) aren't with this too, then you're just delusional.

Where did those three trophies come from, front runner?

Let me fine tune my point. BB/Pioli can draft with the best of them. No doubt. His free agent signings for the most part are ghasty. Rodney Bailey? Chad Brown? Duane Starks? Chad Scott? Monty Beisel?

I think #12 had a lot to do with it, dude. If you read "Patriots Reign", you'd see how close the genius came to drafting Tim Rattay instead of Brady. Again, he drafts well, but he is abyssmal with free agency.

Rodney Harrison? Rosey Colvin? Mike Vrabel?

Obviously, Clownboy is a fan of another team...Jet fan probably...or Steeler mutt that was hanging around a few months ago...even casual fans know Pioli and Co. handle contracts and decisions with input from BB.

Vrabel was a steal (his best signing). The point is for every base hit he gets, he swings and misses at 3 or 4.

I dont know why I'm getting so upset, I mean the genius did have the forsight to sign Hank Poteat and Artrell Hawkins. When's the parade?

Joker, I think you're right.

This guy started a thread about the Dolphins overtaking the Patriots. He also doesn't seem especially knowledgable for a fan who has supposedly been a ticket holder since the early 90's.

I'm thinking he's a fan of another AFC East team trying to stir the pot a little.

Wrong.

Belichick picks the players he wants, not Pioli. They say BB knows the cap better than anyone in the NFL, but it makes you wonder how he thinks he can replace a Willie McGinest when he wont pay them to come here.

What kills me is they are eliminating the heart and soul of this team. Considering the money Cleveland signed him too, it's sad to think the Pats let him walk for that. I ask you to look at last year's free agency moves and tell me why I should be optimistic about this year. Go for it.

Jacky -
Keep showing everyone you are clueless about the Patriots.

How are they eliminating the HEART AND SOUL of the Patriots? Did they cut Brady, Seymour, Branch, Bruschi, and Harrison?

What you clearly don't understand is that the "HEART AND SOUL" of the Patriots should always be changing. The older pieces should be removed and replaces with younger talent who can bring the same heart and soul.

Why should you be optimistic? Well, lets see, the Pats acquired in free agency several good players. Tim Dwight did very well for the Pats as a WR and PR. Beisel was a project (something you are clueless to understand) and showed he could be a player given time and muscle. Brown was a veteran presence who filled in at a position he'd never played before. Chad Scott played well, but got hurt.

All in all, not their BEST free agency period, but certainly not abyssmal.

Do you think the Pats will seriously consider Ray Lewis? I dont. Dont you think Myra Kraft will raise hell if they try to bring in a guy who was "involved" with that murder at the SB?

Going back to your post, how would you feel if they cut Bruschi tomorrow?

Wrong, I'm just a pissed off season ticket holder who is watching this team disintegrate before my eyes.

Well, jackie, Lets see you continue to bounce all over the place. You said 8-8 earlier.

BTW, are you really that gullible to believe that ONE PLAYER makes that much difference?

THIS JUST IN:

8 is less than 10.

(Im assuming the Purge of the Pats continues and doens't end with Willie).

More proof that season ticket holders don't have to pass an intelligence test.

You only continue to prove how much of a clueless moron you are when it comes to the Patriots. Every time you open your virtual mouth, the entire Patriots fanbase suffers a complete waste of their time. I hope you never crawl far enough out of your hole to misrepresent the New England Patriots and their fans any more than you already have. This goes further than your opinion. This is simply spewing purely INCORRECT information.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest...well, I'm done.

Idiot, do you think Pioli picks the players and BB merely coaches them?
