It won’t stop because Bill did an awful job in 2019 helping Brady.People can criticize the results of those two acquisitions, but they should stop saying that Bill wasn't responsive to Tom's needs.
Pats reverted to a ground game in 2018 because they couldn’t throw. It was known they were in dire need to inject some talent at WR now that they lost Gronk and Edelman the only guy left. So.....
Bill signed gems in the offseason such as Maurice Harris, IR stud Bruce Ellington, DeMariyous Thomas, Phillip Dorset and brought back the quitter in Josh Gordon. Aside from Dorset, they all got cut or traded.
He drafts ONE WR who turns out to be the worst of the class.
Signs Brown and traded Thomas (a guy who knew the offense). Cuts Brown two weeks later.
They had no more cap room to trade for Sanders (who they initially wanted) because (see above) so......
Bill trades a 2nd for for a 3rd option WR who tried to make him a #1.
